Recommended Posts

Greece this week and POAK face Panionios who are 13th in the league. The away side are yet to win on the road, only drawing once whilst losing 6 times with a -7 goal difference. POAK are 6/1/1 at home, scoring 20 and conceding 8.

POAK vs Panionios- Home win.

Good luck :)

West Brom looked nailed on as they seek to impress the new boss, so they''re my nap this week.

Good luck to my old pal Gazza and all you Pups!

Happy New Year!

Thanks for the introduction Nutty and for all the picks, sixteen and counting so far.

The 3rd Round of the FA Cup always used to be my favourite weekend when I was growing up. These days, the seeming total disregard of the competition by many Premier League teams makes the picking of apparent certainties far more difficult.

Anyway, it can''t be ignored so here goes with my final six.

Derby County v Southport - Home win.

West Bromwich Albion v Gateshead - Home win.

Manchester City v Sheffield Wednesday - Home win.

Chelsea v Watford - Home win.

Stoke City v Wrexham - Home win.

And finally, to Greece, PAOK v Panionios - Home win.

My personal pick is also a Cup game - Dover v Crystal Palace - Away win.

Firstly Gary, I echo your sentiments about 3rd round day. I fear those days are gone forever along with the 3rd round pitches that helped make it so exciting. At least we were around to enjoy those days!

I thought we''d used up a quota of late goals this season. Brilliant stuff so far GMF and over to Greece.

Interesting game in Greece. PAOK have been behind twice and it''s now 2-2 after just 30 mins. Let''s hope they assert now...

Good luck GMF. Manchester City and Stoke look like they have put enough quality in their sides to suggest they want the win. Chelsea always seems to go for it so there should be  a real shock for victory today.

Stoke and Manchester City kept us waiting there didn''t they? Never thought I''d ever cheer a James Milner goal in my life like that!
