Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 23

Recommended Posts

Greetings PUPs

and welcome to week twenty three of our Rays Funds season. This week we have one

of our real stars with dual winner of the final six Cosmic Twin making the

final selections. Cosmic, who achieved her second win last season, is

consistently one of our top PUPs week in and week out every season. This year

is no exception. She’s currently on 77% in our league and on top form with a

run of selecting 11 consecutive winners. So the final selections are in very

capable hands again this weekend. Last week you PUPs were amazing helping GMF

to his second win. 37/39 winning picks is as good as it gets. More of the same

will give Cosmic an outstanding chance of getting a hat-trick of final six

wins. Don’t forget your selection must be from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon

of this weekend and listed on the Bill Hill or Bet365 web site.

For the match bet this weekend

I’m really pleased to introduce to you a top poster who will be visiting our

threads for the very first time. So please give a warm PUPs welcome to Jim

Smith. Jim’s long been one of my favourite posters on here. We’re maybe a bit

like sparring partners but it’s always a pleasure to debate with him. He also

has my admiration for walking all the way to the Arsenal match last season.

When I lived on Ketts Hill I used to walk too! But Jim walked all the way from

London!! Now Jim has agreed to look at all your selections before choosing some

of them, some of his own or a combination of both. So let’s give him some great

options from the match at Bournemouth on Saturday. Jim - you have £6 to spend and that can be on one or up to six different selections. The choice is yours

Here’s the rota for PUPs making

the final six selections next month. Please let me know if these dates are ok :

-

Jan 31st - Hector

Brockelbank

Feb 7th – Beauseant

Feb 14th – jb

Feb 21st – Diesel Doris

Feb 28th – AJ

Now I’ll hand

this week’s thread over to Cosmic Twin and Jim Smith. Remember there’s no

pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success.

We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community

Sports Foundation.

Good luck all

you PUPs... Take it away Lynda and Jim ... the thread is yours.......[:)].....

Panathinaikos to win at home to Ergotelis in the Greek Super League. Panathinaikos are 6-0-1 at home, Ergotelis are second bottom and 1-3-4 away. Odds of 2/9 look about right. For the Norwich bet, I really can''t get too positive I''m afraid - HT Bournemouth, FT draw is about as good as I can see it getting.Nigel - I know I''m down to do the match bet for the 31st, but I''m going to be away in Italy on a business trip from the 28th to the 30th; is there any possibility of switching with whomever you had planned for the first week in February, or something similar? I''m desperate not to miss out on a chance to raise money for the PUPs, but I can''t guarantee I''ll be able to get on the internet and would hate to let you all down at the last minute.

Evening all, Spain for me and Real Madrid to beat Espanyol.

For the Norwich bet, hard to know isn''t it, I''ve got a feeling Hooper will be given another run out and I would back him to score, so Hooper to score anytime.

Good luck.

A very good evening to you Nutty, very good luck to both Cosmic twin and Jim Smith not forgetting of course all you other lovely PUPs out there.

Off to Spain and a HOME WIN please for REAL MADRID v Espanyol.

For the Norwich bet 0-0 at 12/1 might be worth a quid.

Thanks for the intro, Nutty.

Congratulations to GMF for last week!

I''m going to need all the help I can get from all you lovely PUPs. I will take all picks into consideration and will make my decision late-ish on Friday evening.

Think the match bet could be tricky this week so will stick with my usual of Howson to score any time. Good Luck, Jim!

Since we missed out on Lennon (which I must say I was pleased about) the guy has done a great job at Bolton and with Leeds likely to be looking for another new manager shortly I''ll take

Bolton to beat Leeds (priced at 1/1 with Ladbrokes)

for the match bet (my first away trip of the season) I''ll take a little bit of Surman to score and Norwich to win 2-1.

For Cosmic I''m going back to league two and a team I picked a couple of weeks ago. Burton are 2nd (home record W9 D1 L2 F18 A7) are at home to Mansfield who are 19th (away record W2 D3 L7 F6 A18).

Burton Albion            v            Mansfield Town            Home Win

For Jim I''m going to suggest a small stake on one of Norwich''s second half comebacks away from home. Bournemouth to be winning at half-time wit City to win at full-time is 33/1.
