Well only time will now tell if Lennon can do a job in this league, but what it does show is that he almost certainly would have come to Norwich if he had been offered the job!

It will not be fair to draw firm conclusions as he is joining a team at bottom of league with transfer window shut so difficult task for anyone.

However I will watch with interest.

I know that Adams is doing decent job so far but I am sure most fans will expect a swift return to the Premier League and I worry about his lack of experience I when the pressure is on

All it shows is that Lennon is Manager of Bolton.The fact that he''s ended up there, and not at any one of a number of more lucrative Clubs that have been looking for a new Manager, says a lot. How long before he comes knocking for Hooper?

I''m surprised he went there tbh, thought he might go for a team with a bit more hope in their team like Brighton or Wolves because he''s quite hyped up, probably overly so as it''s not exactly hard to win the league with celtic (although he didn''t do too bad in the CL i suppose)

Possibly it means that they were prepared to meet his wage demands etc. As opposed to some of the other clubs that he has supposedly expressed an interest in.

Yes they have loads of debt and so totally can not afford to drop out of the division. A big roll of the dice!

Regardless of the league Celtic played in I''m not a fan of the stodgy football Lennon''s team played. Their players were a cut above the rest, but rather than treat the fans to a decent technical display and thereby become better able to compete in Europe, Lennon took the easy way out and played an antiquated direct game. Purely in footballing terms, he would probably have been an even worse choice than Adams. As an aside, Adams was a far better pundit/commentator than Lennon.

Agreed. He has waited for the call that never came and now finds himself manager of a basket case. He may well join the list of managers that are always touted for the next job at a mid champ side.
