mrs miggins 0 Posted October 14, 2014 I''m afraid I disagree, if you''re playing a lot of football like Raheem has and he''s tired, it''s better saying so otherwise we get a performance like hoolahan and has to be taken off at half time. Although there''s the question of why is he tired when he''s so young, I think you have to accept it, he has played a lot of football over the last year and it takes a bigger person to admit that they''re not 100% rather than saying it at half time. It''s the same with Hooper who''s admitted he thinks he''s a few weeks off match fitness, yes we could''ve rushed him, but it doesn''t benefit anyone. Making Plans 929 Posted October 14, 2014 Funny how 20 or 30 years ago some of the greatest players this country has ever seen never got tired even though they played 60 or 70 games a season, frequently on very heavy pitches, didn''t have specialist fitness coaches, had no diet control & went out on the p*ss most nights.Tired my ass! shaunieboy77 72 Posted October 14, 2014 Apparantly Mr Hodgsons fury was cooled when the lad Sterling produced a note from home.
