nutty nigel 7,531 Posted October 15, 2014 Welcome PUPs toweek eleven of our Rays Funds season. This week we have our great friend andtop PUP Kathy in charge and making the final selections. Kathy is already onRay’s signature thanks to her fantastic win two seasons ago. And she’s havingher usual great season this year with 7/9 correct selections. As well as beinga previous winner and top PUP Kathy’s also responsible for the Canary Challengeand our BOGOF offer that she managed to get back this season. This has been areal help to the PUPs in the past and we have a chance this season with PUPMandie Moo currently 5th in the overall table. Kathy was also partof our PUPs quiz team that did so well in the NCDSA quiz earlier this year. She’salso great company at our PUPs meets and in the Nelson after matches. RaysFunds is in very safe and capable hands this weekend. Good as she is Kathywill need us to be on top form to help her get us back to winning ways so let’sgive her our very best selection from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of thisweekend listed on the William Hill or Bet365 web site. Please remember that Fridaygames are useless to Kathy and if one slips through it could end up spoilingthe final six. I hate making rules but this really worries me so from this weekany Friday selections will be void from our PUPs league. This week seesthe return of our match bet and we have Lake District Canary selecting for ourgame at Fulham on Saturday. It’s great to have Lakey on board with us thisseason and he’s having a good one right up there with 6/8 75% winningselections. Thanks to our anonymous benefactor, PUPs who joined this season getthe chance to play an active part by selecting the match bets while they striveto get in the Fab40 and get themselves on the final six rota next season. Manyof us met Lakey when he came in the Nelson earlier this season and he’s a topman with a great sense of humour so lets give him some terrific options to selectfrom. Goodluck Lakey, we have £6 to spend so you can choose up to six selections eitherfrom the PUPs suggestions or of your own. I’ve provisionally set the rotas for November. These are for the finalsix : - Nov 1st HermanNov 8th Mandie MooNov 15th PurpleNov 22nd NWCNov 29th Inchy And for thematch bet : - Nov 1st City-til-I-dieNov 8th Pauls FerryNov 22nd The Great DrinkellNov 29th DDD In both casesif the dates are unsuitable let me know and I’ll try and change it around. Kathy 733 Posted October 15, 2014 *reaches for Italian dictionary to see what ''Biondina'' means*....Well I do blonde stuff quite regularly actually, so a valid description. Thanks for the big build up Nutty. I am honoured to have been asked to make the final selections again and shall go through all your suggestions with a fine toothcomb to see if between us all, we can come up with the winning six.I truly value my friendship with the PUPs. Come rain or shine at Carrow Rd, through all the ups and downs at the club it remains steadfast and we have lots of laughs. I''m starting to well up now..Seriously though, If you are new to the PUPs I strongly recommend that you try to meet up with the others sometime and get to know a great bunch of people. Even Tilly. So give me lots of picks to chew on and I''ll do my best to come up with the winning formula.Good luck Lakey too. Who''d have thought it? Me and you pairing up.OTBC Kathy

SwindonCanary 455 Posted October 15, 2014 I noticed last week that this match was an odds on bet, it''s still pretty big but for some reason the odds have been cut, I wonder why ? BAYERN MUNICH to win against Werder Bremen.Norwich bet would be both teams to score. Our defence has looked a little porous over the last few matches and we are scoring well. Mr Apples 1,320 Posted October 16, 2014 Hi all I''m going to go for the Danish Superliga this week with FC Midtjylland to beat Silkeborg IF (FC Midtyjland home win). For the match bet I think City will finally beat Fulham easily, so I''ll go for Norwich to win, over 3.5 goals.[:D] All the best to Kathy and all the PUPs, this is going to be the week!Apples
Kathy 733 Posted October 16, 2014 Forgot to do my own pick (which I shall avoid like the plague).Austrian Bundesliga: Rapid Vienna to beat Admira Modling (Which sounds like something you can get arrested for). For City''s game, Neil Adams to finally end the SW6 curse. City to win 1-0.
lake district canary 4,531 Posted October 16, 2014 An away win for me, Kathy - Ross County v Celtic. If Celtic don''t win this one against the bottom club, they are in real trouble this season. Good luck everyone!
Feedthewolf 4,846 Posted October 16, 2014
Austrian Bundesliga: Rapid Vienna to beat Admira Modling (Which sounds like something you can get arrested for).
Love it! I''m in Austria also this week, to tip Red Bull Salzburg to deal with lowly Ried at home. Despite having lost two home games already this season, Salzburg are still way too strong for this league and tend to annihilate the lowly teams, especially at home. Doubt the odds will be very exciting, but it should be a banker (he said confidently!).For the Norwich match, I''ll tip Jerome to score the first goal in a 2-1 Norwich win. killiecanary 0 Posted October 16, 2014 Getting in early this week! Fed up being late!Die dritte bundesliga for me this week.Top of the table Wehen - played 7 at home and won 6 - face Mainz 05 II - currently in one of the relegation places and with 1 win from 6 away games.Should be a slam dunk home win...famous last words!Good luck Kathy and Lakey and all the PuPs
Trent Canary 0 Posted October 16, 2014 Had hoped to pick Midtyjlland in Denmark which looks to be cracking value, but Mr Apples has already spotted. Will go for the backup of Nomme Kalju to beat Trans in Estonia. Odds nowhere near as good, but dont think it has been chosen yet.Nomme are third, 11/3/2 at home, 42 goals scored and only 7 conceded. Trans are mid table, 2/4/10 away from home.Quite a gulf in class in the league between top half and bottom half, so hopefully should be a cert, although the last fixture between the two finished 0-0.Best of luck all.NCFC bet, 2-0 Fulham.
