......and Smith must score. 1,342 Posted October 10, 2014
The Crown and Anchor is probably the best.
Probably the best bet. It''s off the Strip and a bit of a schlep to walk but no one seems to do that anyway. The landlord is from up North and is a big Man Utd fan but the pub shows all Sky games ( even Bolton''s )Open 24 hours a day
CaptnCanary 0 Posted October 10, 2014 Most of the Hotels have Sports Book betting areas with 50 or so screens. Most of them would put something you want on if you ask. I watched an F1 race in Bally''s back in June. They weren''t going to show it but I was able to tune in on one of the many personal TV stations they have. I''d just have a word with the sportsbook staff where ever you are staying to check they can get the match. You might want to figure out what US channel it will be broadcast on before hand as they have probably never heard of the Championship! They don''t show Sky TV channels as far as I''m aware. If you want any other advice on Vegas, let me know. This year was my 10th visit in as many years. Matt Juler 151 Posted October 10, 2014 I''ve been once, was a good experience, but don''t think it''s somewhere I''d ever rush back to.

CDMullins 436 Posted October 10, 2014
The Crown and Anchor is probably the best.
Went there for the City-United Cup match (Lost 5-0) last October.Fortunately all the screens were out, so we returned to the pool before kick off!Its a cab ride, I would not be walking!Id go as far as saying you have absolutely no chance of getting the game in Vegas! They couldn''t find any Premier League (Saturday 3pm) games when I was there, apart from the Liverpool-WBA game which was on ESPN (I think). However, it is possible to watch every Championship game on Bet365 as long as you are outside the UK. I was in Mexico last couple of weeks and got perfect streams for the Birmingham and Blackpool games.Enjoy Vegas, easily the best place on the planet!

Wimbledon Yellow 0 Posted October 14, 2014 Thanks for the advice - I''ve tried the C&A and they can''t find it on any listings and I''ve checked the next few Championship games that Sky are showing and none are listed on any of the US sports channels How does Bet365 work? You can watch if you''re abroad but not in the UK? If it''s that simple I''ll do that if all else fails
CDMullins 436 Posted October 14, 2014 Yeah I thought you''d struggle. Their ''Sky Sports'' isn''t the same as ours! You just need a funded Bet365 account. When the game starts click ''In Play''Norwich Bolton, then there will be a little yellow watch button!I guess the licensing laws don''t allow people in the UK to watch, but outside the UK its available. If any one is clever enough to change their proxxy they will be able to watch all our games. Playitfunky 0 Posted October 24, 2014 I watched the Norwich Arsenal game a couple of years ago (2-2 I think it was) in the Monte Carlo sports bar. No sound but decent picture. I think it will be on somewhere, especially if you put $50 on it!
CDMullins 436 Posted October 24, 2014 For what reason is it not letting you log in?
Wimbledon Yellow 0 Posted October 25, 2014 Message says "Our software detects that you may be attempting to access the website from the US. If you believe that this detection has occurred in error please contact us". I get a similar message when trying to watch programs on sky go although skybet lets me log in ok - not sure whether it would let me put a bet on though
Trent Canary 0 Posted October 25, 2014 As per earlier suggestion, a sportsbook area of a major casino will have loads of screens and will have access to Sky. You wont have commentary, but MGM grand will stick it on if you ask nicely, especially as it will be Friday afternoon
