Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 12

Recommended Posts

Welcome PUPs to

week twelve of our Rays Funds season. This week we have our current top PUP Mr

Angry in charge and making the final selections. Mr Angry has been a revelation

this season picking games from a different country every week and successful on

each occasion. He’s definitely the man in form right now with 11/11 100% and a

profitability of +4.41 for the season. Last year Simon got close in his only

previous attempt at the final six when 2 drawn games scuppered our chances. I’ve

been looking forward to his week ever since and I think he’s just the guy to

follow up Kathy’s great win last weekend.

We returned to

form as a team last week where between us 33 different suggestions were made

and yet 74% of the team picked correctly. More of the same will give Mr Angry

every chance of getting us back to back wins. Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend

listed on the William Hill or Bet365 web site.

Looking after

the match bet this week we have another of the PUPs who joined this season with Woostercanary

making the selections for our game at Sheffield Wednesday. Wooster’s been a

great addition to our community since he first contacted me late last season. He’s

a PUP who always looks for value bets and I’m well looking forward to his match

selections this weekend. We have £6 to spend Wooster, so you can choose up to

six selections either from the PUPs suggestions or of your own.

Here are the rotas for November. These are for the final six : -

Nov  1st  Herman - Confirmed

Nov  8th Mandie Moo - Confirmed

Nov  15th Purple - Confirmed

Nov  22nd NWC

Nov  29th Inchy

And for the

match bet : -

Nov  1st  City-til-I-die

Nov  8th  Pauls Ferry

Nov 22nd  The Great Drinkell

Nov 29th   DDD

In all cases if

the dates are unsuitable let me know and I’ll try and change it around.

Kathy’s great

win last weekend took our season’s total of wins and pledges to £226 so we are

on course for another great total for the CSF.

That’s it from

me so I’ll hand this week’s thread over to Mr Angry and Woostercanary. Remember

there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you

to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the

Community Sports Foundation.

Good luck all

you PUPs... Take it away Simon and Laurence ... the thread is yours.......[:)]....

As always I

leave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :-

Carve their

names with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch igh,3,

Here''s a little bit of value for you,

Port Vale V Orient ( unbeaten in there last 13 away matches) Away Win (8/5 with Ladbrokes)

For the city bet, we never seem to do well against Wednesday but we need to start winning games and a spy tells me that Wednesday flattered a little at the start of the season ( maybe a little like ourselves) I''ll go 2-2 draw.

Good luck to both pickers

Sadly my personal efforts in this dont match the luck I had last Saturday but I''d rather it was that way round.

This week I''m going for Ajax to beat Go Ahead Eagles in Holland. Good luck Mr Angry but I wouldnt recommend picking mine.

For the Norwich game got a hankering for HT Sheff Wed FT draw.

Good luck all! OTBC

Wycombe to beat Dag & Red for me please.

As for the Norwich bet, this is a tricky one but Sheffield Wed have only won 1 game from their last 6 home games( drawn 3 and lost 2) so we''re catching them at a good time.

I''m going for 0-0 at halftime and 1-1 full time Jerome to score our goal.

Good Luck all the pups

To the Norwegian Tippeligaen, where third-placed Rosenborg (10-1-2) are at home to rock-bottom Sandnes Ulf (0-4-9). With three games to go, Rosenborg need the win to keep a firm grip on Europa League qualification. Given those stats, 2/7 seems like a decent price to me.For the Norwich game, I''m going with Howson to score any time.

Holland for me this week. Vitesses Arnhem have scored 24 goals in their 9 games and have a goial difference of +8. NAC Breda have conceded 23 in their 9 games and have a goal difference of -11. So I''m hoping that past form is an indicator to Saturday''s result so it''s : -

Vittesse            v            NAC Breda           Home Win

For the Norwich bet I like a bit of a gamble this week Norwich to win with Michael Turner scoring anytime is 16/1 with Bill Hill.

Norwich win with Michael Turner to score Anytime.
Wycombe v Dagenham and Redbridge  home win for me too please. For the Norwich bet,  us back on track with a 2 - 0 win, Lafferty to score the first goal.
Just realised Lafferty is suspended so I''ll say 2-0 with Redmond to score the first goal.

Good luck Mr Angry and everyone else.

I''m going for a draw between the top two teams in the Bundesliga, Borussia Munchengladbach (2nd but at home) and Bayern Munich on Sunday (1630 ko) at 7/2.

I will also aim to submit the Norwich picks tomorrow evening so please get them in as I haven''t got a single Norwich pick right once so far.

Molto buono... Signor Arrabbiata ed "Il maestro del pareggio" Wooster.....looks v strong....

Wooster if you don''t pick an obscure draw at ludicrously long odds - and nail it - then I shall be molto deluso...

Had some fabulous news from Japan this week, think we may finally have some success there... So....

Tokushima Vortis vs Nagoya Grampus - away win at 7/10

Tokushima are bottom and rubbish at home, Nagoya Grampus have 70% of their points away... Konichiwa...

Good luck Signor Arrabbiata, though not sure you need it.. Wooster you should buy more lottery tickets...

Estonia where Sillamae Kalev should beat PaideSillamae are 4th, with Paide in 6th. Sounds close, but there is a real gap in class between the top and bottom half. Recent games between the two often finish around the 3-1 mark to Sillamae, and recent games between these two and other clubs in similar positions show a similar pattern.Best of luck allNCFC Bet - 2-2

Bundesliga 3 for me

My old home town team Osnabrueck, entertain bottom dwellers Sonnenhof. Osnabrueck are having a promising season and are generally strong at home, but even if they weren''t, it has to be said that Sonnenhof are dire with only 2 wins from 14 games all season and 5 defeats in hyper last 6 games.

For the City game, I am going to buck the trend and go for a city clean sheet.

Good luck Mr A and Wooster!
