Yobocop 1,444 Posted October 30, 2014 Nathan Redmond needs to be mentored himself and not talk about mentoring younger players. It is a joke to think that he has got to the stage of his career where he is mentoring players when he has yet to reach his full potentialToo much too soon? BroadstairsR 2,273 Posted October 30, 2014 You might well be right but he has quite a number of Premier League games under his belt and has also represented his country at his level on numerous occasions. He is certainly an example to be admired.I also get the impression that he is quite a popular figure amongst the players and he might also relate better with youngsters than the average married player with a family. There are also the personal matters as well. Young Nathan moved away from his Brummie roots for the first time when he came here and that can represent a tough challenge for many youngsters. There will be common interests and challenges surely? For sure he has some aspects of his own game that need improving but I don''t really see his involvement with the younger players adversely effecting this matter or the progress of his ''proteges.'' Barclay seats 4849 the 3rd 0 Posted October 30, 2014 I am personally surprised that we don''t appear to have a striking coach ,, like so many other teams do . DH as a mentor to Redmond would seem a no brainer ,, as I believe that he is involved with the young players ?
