Kicking Towards The Barclay 2nd Half

Recommended Posts

Absolutely. It''s always been a mystery to me and those that sit around me in The Barclay. It seems to me it''s been like this for years or am I missing something?

There can''t been many teams that choose not to kick towards their ''kop'' in the second half.

Pretty sure the reason is the pitch use to have a slight slope towards the River End, hence why they decided to kick that way second half. And now its just tradition, despite it not making much sense

Gipsy you are spot on

How the other posters do not know that is beyond me

I always feel we are more likely to score going to the river end, I thought there were stats proving that too, certainly when I was growing up in the 90''s at carrow road more goals seem to go in at that end.

I think we do it the right way but I agree some matches the Barclay can draw the team on to them.
