KeelanTheLegend 0 Posted November 3, 2014 Anyone else feel we should always kick towards the Barclay in the 2nd half of matches?
Bury Yellow 2 Posted November 3, 2014 Absolutely. It''s always been a mystery to me and those that sit around me in The Barclay. It seems to me it''s been like this for years or am I missing something? There can''t been many teams that choose not to kick towards their ''kop'' in the second half. Jacks Back 0 Posted November 3, 2014 Pretty sure the reason is the pitch use to have a slight slope towards the River End, hence why they decided to kick that way second half. And now its just tradition, despite it not making much sense
Gingerpele 0 Posted November 4, 2014 It really doesn''t make any difference...

smooth 114 Posted November 4, 2014 Gipsy you are spot onHow the other posters do not know that is beyond meI always feel we are more likely to score going to the river end, I thought there were stats proving that too, certainly when I was growing up in the 90''s at carrow road more goals seem to go in at that end.I think we do it the right way but I agree some matches the Barclay can draw the team on to them. mrs miggins 0 Posted November 4, 2014 I hope not because we normally score in the second half so I get to witness the goals closer...and yes I am selfish
