just noticed as I was reading the managers comments from the week,
I saw worthy had a go at green, saying he needs to eradicate silly
mistakes from his game.

which I thought was a bit rich, sure the throw out wasn''t green''s best
moment, but I thought worthy''s style was not public criticism
and why green above everyone. he''s one of the few who have really
excelled this season.

I think you''ve misinterpreted what Worthy said a bit Rich.

He did mention Green''s throw out and say it was a mistake, but he also said he understood what Greeno was trying to do. He then went on to say that it is up to the WHOLE TEAM to improve its decision making and made it clear that he wasn''t just talking about Greeno which in my book is fine.

I don''t know about singling Green out for special criticism. But Green has been making some basic errors. In the Palace game in particular he spilled a simple gather which the Palace strikers nearly scored from. From a corner later on, he got caught wandering towards the penalty spot before the kick was taken. Only then to see the ball whizz across the face of goal about a yard out from the goal line. As Palace didn''t capitalise we laughed it off. But it made him look a bit dodgy all the same.

But as I say, he''s been no more dodgy than anyone else so far.

have taken it out of context to make it more than it was. I
thought it was strange cos green has been no worse than anyone else,
and better than quite a few others.

amazing what these journalists can do to make a story sound better

to blame Green for doing the same vs palace is absurd. the problem was that DA & LM didn''t get that elusive 2nd goal.
