Indeed Herman! What a selection that was!! From my vantage point level with the 6 yard box I was disappointed that Russ Martin wasn''t in the box for the corner kick. I''m sure most of us expected that would be where a goal could come from. But when the ball came out and Martin shaped to shoot I held my breath. Could it be? And what a strike it was as I tracked the ball all the way into the top corner. One of the finest strikes I''ve seen and all the better for The Great Drinkell''s foresight because as the ball hit the net I was not only cheering a magnificent goal but also the £30 it got us for the CSF.

So now I get to add one of this thread''s greatest friends and supporter The Great Drinkell''s name onto Ray''s signature and adjust the totals to reflect the £30 he got for us. That £30 means that the match bet has raised £152 so far this season in the £13 weeks there''s been a game. This is fantastic not just for us and the CSF but also for our anonymous benefactor who funds it who I am forever grateful to.

Really unlucky buddy. In the end you got 5/6. The Notts County selection looked a great find but not a lot went for us in that fixture so it wasn''t to be. I''m already looking forward to your week next season where I''m confident you''ll get your second win[Y]

Great effort,NWC as my bet proved you need a little bit of luck on your side. today it was with my selection.

I like Nutty was hoping RM would be in and around the 6 yard box at corners and actually said to Nana just as the corner was taken we need this to be cleared and Martin to hit a worldy .... then laughed, then screamed and then jumped for joy. gutted Brighton came back tho.

Great to be able to add something to the CSF pot.

Gutted to miss out - Notts was the odds off bet, and so it proved the bookies were right yet again. At least we get our money back with 5/6 with Bill Hill?Fantastic pick from TGD to get some money in the coffers for this weekend. - Russ Martin - who''d have thought it!! - Well played!!Looking forward to next season''s picks already - its great to be a part of this thread :)

We were so close to double bubble this week but even so it''s been a great weekend for us PUPs. 34/44 of PUPs picked correctly (77%). And 20 of the 29 different selections won (69%). NWC was really unlucky with his 5/6 but thanks to The Great Drinkell''s inspired selection we still significantly added to the pot.

Tilly is now on his own at the top of the PUPs league after Purple''s great run came to an end in Czechoslovakia. Here''s the latest table showing those with at leasy 50% correct from at least half the available weeks.

Anyone know any contact details for these Far East betting syndicates? I need to know how this match fixing thing works.

Watching the film at the AGM last night about the work the community sports foundation at the club does to help disabled people and others less fortunate than ourselves,  really brought it home how important any money raised from the pups weekly bets is and what a difference it makes so if you don''t already join in, give it a go this week.
