nutty nigel 7,902 Posted November 19, 2014 Welcome PUPs toweek sixteen of our Rays Funds season. This week we have every chance ofreturning to winning ways with previous final six winner NWC in charge andmaking the final selections. NWC recorded his success last season after one ofthe most unlucky 5/6ers in his first attempt. Marcus is a top PUP who’s got 75%correct selections this season and that fantastic record of 11/12 in previousgoes in the hot seat. NWC will still need our help so let’s give him our verybest selection from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend and listedon the William Hill web site. It’s got to be Bill Hill this weekend because wehave a free bet to use from Purple’s unlucky 5/6 last week. Losing that on thevery last game after a missed penalty brought it home to me yet again that weneed to enjoy and share the wins when we get them because we need everything togo right in all six games for us to win. After last week’sinternational break it’s great to have the match bet back. This week we have areal star and one of our founder PUPs The Great Drinkell making the selections.Drinks is having a great season this time providing us with value bets for thefinal six where he is +£2.52 over the season. Last season he drew TGD hadEverton away for the match bet so I’m sure he’ll enjoy sorting through yoursuggestions for the match at home to Brighton a lot more this time. We have £6 to spend Paul, so you can choose up to sixselections either from the PUPs suggestions or of your own. Most of Decembers dates are now confirmed. They are : - For the main bet : -6th Dec – Twidio -confrmed13th Dec - Mandie Moo’s MearKat20th Dec - Graham Humphrey28th Dec – Gregt - confirmed And for the Norwich match bet : -6th Dec - Sports DeskPete - confirmed13th Dec – Cityangel - confirmed20th Dec - Blahblahblah28th Dec - Nutty Nigel - confirmed Now I’ll handthis week’s thread over to NWC and The Great Drinkell. Remember there’s nopressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the CommunitySports Foundation. Good luck allyou PUPs... Take it away Marcus and Paul ... the thread is yours.......[:)]....... nutty nigel 7,902 Posted November 19, 2014 That game is fine Yankee. Most of the leagues appear on both. Even Purple''s games seem top be on Bill Hill these days.....
Trent Canary 0 Posted November 19, 2014 I reckon Newcastle will keep up their recent good form at home to a poor QPR side. Bit risky but 5/6 looks decent for what it is.Best of luck all.NCFC bet, I fancy an own goal for either team at 12/1.

Yellowfuture 71 Posted November 19, 2014 Evening all, nice pictures of the quiz, hope the PUPs triumphed.Bundesliga for meBayern Munich to beat TSG HoffenheimFor the Norwich bet, I am expecting a big reaction from our guys and a Norwich win.Maybe a goal from Jonny Howson.Good luck to the pickers, so near with Purple last week, after that bad luck we deserve the gods to be smiling on us. jb 0 Posted November 20, 2014 A slightly more exotic choice for me this week... and to romania, where CFR Cluj (2nd, 9-2-3, +14gd) should beat CSMS Lasi (2nd bottom, 1-6-7, -12gd).And for the norwich bet, have a feeling that brighton will come for a point, and will probably get one. SwindonCanary 457 Posted November 20, 2014 BAYERN MUNICH Home win against TSG Hoffenheim Norwich bet a home win
splutcho 196 Posted November 20, 2014 As Belgium was kind to me last week, I''m going back for a riskier choice. Standard Liege look to be having a resurgence, having won their last 4 games to nil after a poor start to the season. Their opponents KV Oostende have lost two on the trot to teams in the relegation zone, so at evens I''ll take Liege to win away there.
Diesel Doris 130 Posted November 20, 2014 League 1 again for me:LEYTON ORIENT v Crewe HOME WINGood Luck NWC and all you Lovely PUPsFor the Norwich bet HT draw FT Norwich. Good Luck everyone.
Mr Apples 1,407 Posted November 20, 2014 Hi all, its Switzerland for me this week and an home win for FC Basel vs. FC Aarau (FC Basel home win) For the match bet I''m confident Neeyul win break the losing streak so i''m going for a Norwich win, over 2.5 goals. Good luck everyone! Apples
PurpleCanary 6,381 Posted November 20, 2014 The Czech second tier.Zlin to win at home against Kolin.Zlin are 7th with a 4-2-1 and 12/7 home record, but have won their last two games, including a 3-2 victory against the team in 4th.Kolin are bottom with a 0-2-5 and 4/16 away record and have lost their last six games, conceding 19 and scoring 4.WARNING. There are no William Hill odds as yet, although they should arrive. I will try to check tomorrow teatime to see if they have appeared. If not I will switch to Feyenoord to beat Dordrecht. For the NCFC bet, Howson to score last.
splutcho 196 Posted November 20, 2014 Forgot the Norwich game.Norwich at HT/Draw at FT is 14/1or you could reverse and go Brighton/Draw for the same odds.Very confident that this will finish all square for some reason.
The Great Drinkell 51 Posted November 20, 2014 Thanks for the lovely intro Nutty, I am very much looking forward to my turn at the helm ( I just hope there is a rudder to my ship?)For my selection this week I think Wycombe were the victims of the new manager effect on Monday night and wont want Luton to get to far ahead of them in the title race. I''ll take them to bounce straight back at Cheltenham.Cheltenham V Wycombe Away winkeep the match bets coming and I''ll post my choice(s) on Friday night/ Saturday morning. Mr Angry 2,017 Posted November 20, 2014 I agree with jb and I''m going for a home win for CRJ Cluj.Good luck to all PUPs and especially NWC.
NWC 315 Posted November 20, 2014 Thanks for the intro Nutty and the good wishes from all you PUP''s.Have got a few "bankers" in the bag already but am now looking for some bigger money picks to get a bigger total for the CSF - BUT would rather have a little money than no money for our worthy cause.Keep picking PUP''s.Will finalise tomorrow afternoon if that''s OK Nutty - unless you need them earlier?Good Luck All, and esp. The Great Drinkell for the NCFC bet.

nutty nigel 7,902 Posted November 20, 2014 Anytime tomorrow is fine NWC. For my pick I''m going to join Splutcho in Belgium but a different game. Lokeren are W6 D1 L1 F20 A10 at home and in good form while Westerlo are W2 D2 L4 F11 A23 away and in terrible form. Lokeren v Westerlo Home Win For the Norwich bet I fancy Norwich to win with Grabban on the scoresheet.
