Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 5

Recommended Posts

Welcome PUPs to week five of our Rays Funds season. This week we have another

previous winner of the final six with Vindo in charge and making the final

selections. Vindo got us one of our best wins of the season when his all

correct final six won £46 last September. His quality is shining through

already this season where he is on 3-4 75% in our PUPs league. So as you can

all see the final six is in very capable hands again this weekend.

Last week was just one of those weeks that we draw a line under and move

on. Poor Til1010 never stood a chance after so many results went against us. I’m

sure us PUPs will bounce back to form this weekend. It’s international weekend

so many of our usual hunting grounds are not available. But there are

international fixtures as well as some of the lower leagues. Don’t forget your

selection must be played on Sat/Sun/Mon this weekend and be listed on Bet365 or

William Hill web sites.

Obviously there’s no Norwich bet this weekend.

I have some news about the presentation of last season’s winnings of

£655. We are a bit behind with this because there hasn’t been a suitable

fixture at Colney to tie in with. Ricky Martin has been in touch and invited us

to Colney on Monday 22nd September when the U21s are playing Leicester City at

3pm. The plan is to do the presentation first then watch the match. I realise a

Monday afternoon may not be ideal for some of you but if you can make it and

would like to come please let me know.

Now Ill hand the thread over to Vindo.

Remember theres no pressure because we are

all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together

with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation.

Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Kev ... the thread is

yours.......[:)]......

As always I leave you with

Ray’s signature which now reads :-

I think this might be a difficult week to make a lot of money on, I have struggled to find much.

I''ve gone for the Korean K-League, where the leaders, Jeonbuk Motors, play Sangju Sangmu (listed on William Hill as Gwangju Sangmu but must surely be the same team). Sangju are in 9th out of 12 teams but have a poor head to head record against Jeonbuk. Jeonbuk have won 10 out of the last 14 at home to Sangju, and beat them 6-0 at home in July. Odds are 4/11 for a home win to Jeonbuk.

Good luck to all PUPs and double luck to Vindo.

After a terrible start to the season, its a nervous trip to the Conference North for me this week.

North Ferriby Utd (4-1-1 9-5) v Solihull Moors (1-1-4 9-11) - Home Win

Best of luck Vindo and all you PUPs.

Thanks for the flattering intro nutty, I shall of course do my utmost to pick a winning six and am delighted to have another opportunity on this great thread and cause.

I will be popping back from time to time and making notes on all your undoubted quality picks, and am aiming to post a final selection later on Friday night (is there a particular cut off nutty?).

Anyway, good luck all, and send me your best naps - taking a quick squint at the available fixtures leaves me feeling this will be as awkward as ever, but I have a good feeling our team spirit will see us through! OTBC

Right, well, after those Binners ruined my last pick I think it has to be the relative safety of League One:Peterborough (P5, Pts 12) to beat Port Vale (P5, Pts 5) if you please.Good luck, you lovely old boys and girls.

Thanks Herman. I will stay as I was then. I''m sure when I first picked this it was showing as a Saturday match and then, when I clicked on a site later, it was showing under today''s date. Probably the beginning stages of losing my marbles.

What a horrible week to have to do this!

I will also go for Barnet to beat Alfreton Town. I usually like to pick something different, but there''s not much value out there.

Hi everyone, after last week''s bonkers results I need to get back on track so I''m going to go for Poland to vanquish the plucky Gibraltarians (I think it could be carnage -  may be worth a masive score punt???).

Poland (away win)

Good luck and all the best to the PUPs!!!
