Move Klose 303 Posted September 13, 2014 Did he play well, did him and Turner work well together. Also where did Jerome play when he came on, out wide or did Grabban move wide or did we go 2 up top ?
Bury Green 0 Posted September 13, 2014 Having a left footed centre half certainly added some blalence and, importantly, he can pass the ball. There were a few thirty or forty yard passes to feet which is always good to see.Jerome, as good a forty five minutes I''ve seen in quite some time.Stating the bleeding obvious but it''s a bitch of a trip, only just got home courtesy of some truly crappy trains but why let that spoil a magnificent day. mrs miggins 0 Posted September 13, 2014 I must admit I only saw it on a stream, but the whole back 4 in the first half were scared to get stuck in. I''m glad Adams went for Turner and Hooiveld to keep Jones quite as I think it could''ve been even worse in that first half if we went for Martin at CB, but no doubt they were poor in that first half. At the break they were obvious told to get stuck in and together they kept Jones quiet resulting in the big lump of a striker being subbed for Maynard who was equally as ineffective (mostly because of our dominance). As a pairing against teams with a big lone striker, its our best defensive pairing, yet there''s no pace between them so will not play together as regularly I don''t think. Yet as I say, against a big lump, they should be a very good partnership.
