Garry Monk - Twitter

Recommended Posts

I saw that the Swansea manager is on twitter (I don''t do twitter, I saw it on SSN)

Why would someone in that position put themselves ''out there'' , on such a platform?

Are they leaving themselves open to a myriad of problems?

I see it as slightly different for players on Twitter (who certainly get their fair share of stick, but that would prompt the question ''why?'' also btw!)

Do people see it as a great way of communicating with someone you would perhaps only be able to snatch a quick conversation at the training ground, or at the main entrance, on match days, in days gone by?

Are there any other managers, at that level, on Twitter also?

Are there problems?

I know our CEO was (is?) on Twitter, and has that caused problems, does anyone ''follow'' him, or anyone else of that standing, and can tell an old codger a thing or two about the modern world? :)

some of these Twitter accounts are run by marketing companies who post tidbits to generate interest in something.. the "blue tick" ones aren''t always the person they say they are.. but rather their management company.
