Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 6

Recommended Posts

Welcome PUPs to week six of our Rays Funds season. This week we have Gravycanaries

in charge and making the final selections for the very first time. Gravy has

fantastic personal stats with 24/30 80% last season and 4/5 80% this season. I’ve

been trying all 8 seasons and have never come close to achieving that. So I’ve

been looking forward to Gravy’s week and he is just the right man to follow up

Vindo’s terrific win last weekend.

After last week’s restricted choice we’re back to normal this weekend

with all the top leagues back to pick from. So please find your very best

suggestion for Gravy and don’t forget the game must be listed on Bill Hill or

Bet365 and played on Sat/Sun/Mon.

Taking charge of the Norwich bet we have one of our PUPs who joined this

season with Parma ham’s gone mouldy making the selections. Parma has already

made a great contribution to PUPs by patiently helping me add more stats to our

league table. It’s also looking like he’s going to be one of our very top PUPs

so I’m well pleased that thanks to our anymous benefactor he has a chance to

make these selections this season. Good as he is Parma will need your help with

suggestions for our game away to Cardiff this Saturday. Good luck Parma, we

have £6 to spend so you can choose up to six selections either from the PUPs

suggestions or of your own.

I’ve provisionally set the rotas for October. These are for the final

six : -

Oct 4th  Jellytot

Oct 11th Hissing

Sid

Oct 18th Mr

Angry

Oct 25th NWC

And for the

match bet : -

Oct 4th Killiecanary

Oct 18th Lake

District Canary

Oct 25th Woostercanary

In both cases

if the dates are unsuitable let me know and I’ll try and change it around.

Now Ill hand the thread over to Gravy

and Parma. Remember theres no pressure

because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all

stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports

Foundation.

Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Gravy and Parma ... the thread is

yours.......[:)].....

As always I leave you with

Ray’s signature which now reads :-

Carve their names with

My pick this week comes from the J-League.

Kawasaki Frontale are 4th, they are at home to the bottom team, Tokushima Vortis, so I''m going for a home win. Odds are 7/20.

Good luck to all PUPs and to Gravycanary especially.

Nigel, I''m on a stag weekend-and gutted to be missing the Fulham game-on 18th October-would it be possible to swap to a different date please?

Enjoy your trip to Slovenia Herman, had a great two centre holiday there a few years ago crossing the border to Croatia, which is where my selection comes from this week.

Dynamo Zagreb to beat Istra 1961

For the Norwich bet, Lafferty looked pretty sharp this week and I hope this will carry for ward for a City goal, so Lafferty to score anytime.

Good luck PUPs.

A very good evening to you Nutty and good luck to you Parma and Gravy not forgetting all you other lovely PUPs out there.

Blimey I hope cheese and gravy is not another dirty northern habit that Kev indulges in Nutty. [:P]

Anyway off to Germany and a HOME WIN please for BAYERN MUNICH v Stuttgart.

Like Yellowfuture I also think Lafferty is due to get off the mark for us so him to score anytime is my pick.

Buonasera tutti, thanks for the big build up Nutella...

Lafferty to score looks a nice call...strikes me as a streak scorer...will also try to find some value bets and hedge on likely outcomes.

Good luck to Gravy especially and In Bocca al lupo a tutti voi..

The welsh premier league for me please, TNS to beat Port Talbot Town.TNS are cruising at the mo with 3 wins and a draw in their first 4 games including a 5-1 away drubbing of my local team Gap Connah''s Quay.Port Talbot are doing OK, but they are no match for the saints on their own turf, and its a crap journey for them to get up north. For the City bet, I will like to suggest a Kyle Laffety goal!!NN - I have pm''d you rgds my pup date :)

Hi PUPs, I''m going to go for an Alex Salmond referendum special this week (and its just up the road from me) and take Hibernian to beat Cowdenbeath.

Hibernian (Home Win).

For the match bet I think it''ll be very tight, so I''m going for a no score draw at H/T and a score draw at F/T.

All the best PUPs and happy hunting!!!

My instincts chime with several of you in that I lean towards a tight prem replica type game.

Wooster has a fabulous record of high returns (his was a sample we looked at for the stats it stood out so much) and 21/10 looks a nice return on a 1 in 3 outcome.

Not sure many games will finish 0-0 in the Champ, but this could be one. Anybody fancy that too?

Kind words Parma, thank you - but you shouldn''t confuse luck with match-picking ability. It''s early days ......

Italy for me please where I think Juventus will beat Udinese.

Sorry to be pessimistic but I think Cardiff still feel they have a score to settle with us, and I suspect they will beat us this time. Adam Lefondre who couldnt stop scoring last season to score at any time.

Blackpool vs Wolves - AWAY WIN

for me please.

Norwich bet:

Grabban to score anytime would be a good bet.

We''re probably overdue a goal from defence too so how about Turner to score?

I like the look at 14/1 of HT/FT Cardiff City/draw. With our star-studded bench and Adams'' willingness to make changes we could fight back for a result. Good luck, Parma!
