smooth 114 Posted September 23, 2014 It is a tough balancing act.Josh Murphy came on and was quick and challenge when running at the full back. He is learning, But we have to be wary, we are trying to go up first time of asking and every game counts, every single game counts. He almost lost the ball while running across our back four and we saw that with poor tracking from Redmond last year we conceded goals. It is a tough balancing act, there will be mistakes lets hope not too costly and the positives out weigh the negatives. We def need our defence to shore up, we look a little shaky and even with two defensive midfielders we are conceding or putting ruddy under increasing pressure. Joanna Grey 0 Posted September 23, 2014 It''s a good job that Josh has the likes of Wes and Tettey to learn from then regarding carlessness and taking risks when in possession.
smooth 114 Posted September 23, 2014 Lappin it up he did actually lose the ball but fortunately the ball fell to there players and there attack came to nothing. You cannot afford these mistakes in our defensive third, like in the Cardiff game, they deserved to be punished.Joanna I would say tettey makes a lot less than hoops and Johnson. As you say we have some faith in senior players that can make mistakes, they have been costly in some games. So let''s hope each player continues to grow and give that little more throughout the season
