Shrews v Canaries thread

Recommended Posts

If these players want to force there way into Adams team on daturday then tonights the way to do it. Wont be easy but our quality over a league 2 should come through.

Surprised not to see Murphy start but probably getting a rest after his cameo Saturday. Hope to see Mcgrandles get some minutes though

Agreed AJ that was my first thought re Murphy. Would have liked to have seen Loza start as it appeared Loza, Howson and Hooper combined well to put 5 past the Leicester youth.

I imagine depending on how the first half goes we might see plenty of Loza. Can''t see Hooper and Howson playing more than an hour if we''ve put the game to bed

Easily enough quality to cruise past Shrewsbury, but it''ll come down to work rate and desire. Hopefully our fringe players like E. Bennett will want to take their chance to impress
David Fox is on Radio Norfolk, who is he playing for now?
Just said he is training with Preston, so am assuming he doesn''t have a club. You would have thought being the finest, ball playing midfielder Norwich City has ever seen, would have meant he''d walk into most teams.[;)]

No club! He must be decent enough to play lower championship to top end of league 1 level?
Our team v the Shrews would frighten most championship sides!

Rudd; Whittaker (c), Cuellar, Miquel, Garrido; Odjidja, O''Neil, Howson, E Bennett; Lafferty, Hooper.
hasent frightened the league 2 side

A cup run would be useful to give game time to members of our large squad but if we do capitulate tonight the likes of Hooper and Lafferty will find it hard to complain about warming the bench or sitting in reserve.

Have we not learned from our mistakes that these cup losses do halt momentum. This is shocking. We have not done anything since lafferty''s miss! If we dont want to be in the cup then why not just pull out and save the petrol money!

Maybe this actually shows that our squad isn''t as good as a lot of people on here think? This was a golden chance for the squad players to push for a starting place but they obviously are not up for it?
