HampsteadCanary 0 Posted August 1, 2014 Maybe a little dig at the Hughton regime or just common sense talking, but he did say in an interview that when you buy two strikers, you want to see them play together! I for one am gllad he''s bought two that look like they could play together....
YellowNets1901 0 Posted August 1, 2014 Don''t think Adams is the type to have a sly dig, but you never know. He''s right.
ZLF 271 Posted August 1, 2014 We did see hooper and rvw play together and it was a poor combination. The statement is nonsense in most scenarios anyway? Unless you are replacing your strike force, surely you are only adding options to what you already have; if you are missing pace to a strong hold up man you may buy two strikers who are quick, you wouldnt necessarily start both as you only want one to compliment your existing player. Yelloow Since 72 54 Posted August 1, 2014 On the evidence of the pre-season games, I''d say that Lafferty and Grabban were the likely partnership to start.
