I''d be happy with this signing, though our history with players named O''Neil or O''Neill isn''t the bestJohn, Martin, Keet...
what was wrong with Martin (the player) ?...he was one of the best midfielders we ever had..

Well NA has now said that GO''N has trained with the squad a few times, so a deal is pretty likely. For all the negative comments about him, this is a guy who has spent the bulk of his career towards the top end of things, and was at QPR last season.

A type of player we are lacking at the moment. Very experienced, played in the premiership for a lot of his career, and has promotion experience. Pleased with this addition, if it is finalised.

Yeah I think this will be a good signing!

Not a world beater, indeed not a player we''d of signed in the top flight but he''s got experience, knows how to get promoted and will add more depth to a midfield that will likely see at least 1 departure very soon!

Might be a good squad option if we lose Fer & Tetty as both are injury prone and touted as maybe heading out the door.

Would hope that should we sell Fer someone else would have been lined up as a replacement.

Not a bad signing but lets not fill our squad with aging journeymen and loan players again.....it didn''t work 2006 and might bite us on the backside again.

Agreed Indy but its not really looking that way is it.

There is a lot of exciting youth in the team and a good blend of experience in different divisions. He will blend into the mix quite well.

Agree Jenks....it''s great to see youth involved.

I was impressed with Grabban & Laff ladt night.

Just don''t want more than O''Neil, we have enough goid players who know this division to guide our tallented youngsters.
