Actually we probably do need a striker in this mould. What we do not have is much of an aerial threat up front. Lafferty despite his size looks better with the ball at his feet.

We could have put quality crosses in all day on Sunday and I doubt if Grabban would have got any change out of their centre backs. We seemed to be relying on precision through balls which makes us to predictable. We need more options for the 11 on the pitch.

Also the back 4 need to be able to lump it to a target man when they get pressed. Again we lacked this out ball on Sunday.
