Marcus Evans on being sold a dud team.

Recommended Posts

On the BBC site our secret agent is saying he was expecting rapid promotion after he bought 1p5wich.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28791885

Has he really had offers to buy the club but refused? Are our rivals ambition of being a successful club based on mid table mediocrity?

Long may his efforts help them with this "Heavy investment early on has seen the club rack up a debt of around £80m to him and after repeated failures to mount serious promotion challenges, the playing budget has been significantly reduced."

Great invest he''s been to that club :-) Maybe if he bought decent players their fans may turn up to support but I doubt it. I do love to see them struggle.

I know where I''d rather be, north side of Waveney where the grass is greener. At least we''ve had far more ups than downs and fuller grounds.

Stick McCarthy in me pocket

I''ll fetch the contracts from the van

Cause if you want investments

And you don''t ask questions

Then brother I''m your man

Where it all comes from is a mystery

It''s like the rows of empty seating

And the Cresswell transfer fee

But here''s the one thats driving me berserk

Why do only bins and donkeys work

La la lala - la la la la la (etc)

err, like buying a £25m debt for £6m, or stiffing the paupers for interest on that full amount rather than what he paidodd that he should say that the playing bufdget has been cut - something numerous dimwits on here have been telling me i was wrong aboutand why has he transfered to training ground to an offshore company if he is not thinkig of selling .... or pulling the plug

Tried to do it on the cheap and failed the audit.

I think that failed attempt racked up a bit more debt though...
