The answer atm seems to be no so we need to get a few defenders in, there is no way in which whittaker should be starting every game, he''s too painful to watch. Salopian 1 Posted August 17, 2014 They both like to get forward, and are often successful when they do, but they share a common disability. They have no real pace, and struggle with quick wingers. They are each probably quicker at back-peddling, which they do often, in place of tackling. In modern football the full backs have a huge influence - so we need real quality in these areas. Olsson is good enough one side but we need an equally pacy player right side. As many have wondered, I believe Elliot Bennet could play there well, at this level at least. But really we should be actively looking to spend 3-4 million on some quality for this area.
