Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 2

Recommended Posts

Welcome PUPs to week two of our Rays Funds season. This week we have CD

Mullins in charge and making the final selections for the very first time. I’ve

been looking forward to Chris having his turn ever since he qualified last

season with 19/23 (83%) winning selections. And Chris has already hit the

ground running picking a winner on the opening day. So let’s help him by giving

our very best selection from the weekend’s fixtures played on Sat/Sun/Mon and

listed on the William Hill web site. It has to be Bill Hill because we have a

tenner free bet for Trent’s really unlucky final six last weekend where an 89th

minute equalizer in the Molde game was all that prevented a winning start.

Chris will feel at home around Bill Hill anyway because it was he who alerted

me to this great offer last season.

For the Norwich match bet I’d like to welcome Crabbycanary to the

thread. Crabby is another poster from the board who helped with the end of

season pledges and then supported us this season. So let’s give him a great

choice of suggestions for our beloved team’s home match against Watford. Good luck

Jeff, we have £6 to spend so you can choose up to six selections either from

the PUPs suggestions or of your own. And please stick around buddy. We need

your help with the main bet too.

Here are some sites some of us use to make our selections : -

http://www.statto.com/

http://uk.soccerway.com/

http://www.soccerstats.com/

Not sure if any of them are available as phone apps but Hector recommended

the Racing Post app last week.

If any of you do the Sky Sports Super6 just for fun I made a PUPs mini

league on there. Please join it. The code is 1LTW0K

Now Ill hand the thread over to CD

Mullins and Crabby. Remember theres no pressure

because we are all going to be doing our best to help you get by your names in

the Rays Funds Hall of Fame. We all stand together with the single aim of

raising money for the Community Sports Foundation.

Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Chris and Jeff ... the thread is

yours.......

As always I leave you with

Ray’s signature which now reads :-

Carve their names with

pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,3,

Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,2,

Sports Foundation.

And with the Norwich match

bet. Splutcho, jb, Javier’s Deaf Translator, Hector Brockelbank, Blahblahblah,

Can u sit down please, Til1010, Mandie Moo’s Mear Kat, yes PUPs £76 for the

Community Sports Foundation.

far.

Hello all, both of my first two picks were taken in Benfica and PSV (and not wanting to tempt fate by backing Zenit for the 2nd week in a row), so in the interest of giving as much choice as possible I''m going to go to the Czech Liga and back Viktoria Plzen to win at home to Hradec Kralove at odds of 2/9.

Best of luck to CDMullins and CrabbyCanary, and once again thanks to Nutty for keeping this running.

Watford have scored 3 goals in 3 of their last 4 visits to Carrow Rd so that would be my match bet, Watford to score 3 goals.

After Zenit''s 8-1 trouncing of Torpedo Moscow last weekend, I think you could do worse than to back them again at home to the mysterious FC Ufa, who have managed to find their way to the top flight despite only being formed in 2010. Can''t see the big guys slipping up here.

I''m also going for a home win for Paris Saint-Germain v Bastia.

Last season PSG were W15 D3 L1 F51 A7 at home and Bastia were W3 D5 L11 F18 A38 away.

Good Luck, CD Mullins!

As for the match bet, I''m sticking with Grabban to score any time!

MM - ZENIT -v- FC Ufa HOME WIN

For the Norwich bet my Mear Kat thinks that Lafferty will score anytime, currently 13/8 on Bill Hill. I can''t seem to muster any confidence so how about HT/FT Watford/Draw at 14/1.
