Great win, should have been by more to reflect our overall superiority but hey, 3 points for us and none for the binners.Tettey outstanding today, MoM for me.Only negatives were the ponderous Whittaker and the ineffective Bennett.  Lafferty wasn''t great but you can have "one of those games", Whittaker''s had a few of "those games" now. Whittaker not a great game at all. But we were so much the better team. Would worry about Ips**** if I was a supporter. Poor team and in a derby. Onwards now for us. Tettey and Hoolihan completely outshone midfield.

A gate of 25245 of which 2000 were real fans. Only 23245 scum fans for their cup final is a truly pathetic effort, rather like their team.

We looked comfortable throughout with only the McGoldrick effort in the first half and Murphy''s header in the second. Should have had lots more goals but who cares - Grabben scored against the scum and didn''t need to score another one!

Thought we''d live to regret all those misses but we saw the game out comfortably in the end. Even the Ipswich fans seem to accept that there was only one team in it and they were lucky to get away with only a one goal defeat.

 

There seems a new found confidence running through the side which is a massive compliment to Neil Adams.
