Mutley 74 Posted June 12, 2014 Found this an interesting read on the head to heads with the teams that we will be facing this season. Presumably it is only league games?Taken from the club web site: http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/20140611-club-by-club-championsip-preview-part-one-1632270.aspxSurprised at the number of times that we have played Brentford. We have an almost identical head to head against several teams including the binners. Be good to get that gap closed by two more this season.Unfortunately we have three bogey teams in the league with us in Blackburn, Fulham (albeit more recently according to these stats) and Wolves. ZLF 274 Posted June 12, 2014 Interesting stuff - not surprisingly we have played most games against Watford and then Ipswich (94, 93 respectively) and least, by some way, with wigan with just 9 followed by blackpool and rotherham (29) We are also Cardiffs bogey side with strong records against Wigan, Derby & Watford but overall our opponents gain more points per match than we do. Sheff weds are borderline a bogey team for us too. Using history as a guide for the future we would only get 63 points leaving us firmly mid table.
Mutley 74 Posted June 12, 2014 I guess this season is all about creating history and not reflecting it when you consider what an average points tally would be. Kind of put things into perspective tho.
Chunky Norwich 0 Posted June 14, 2014 Without appearing to sound rude, I''d have thought we were Wolves bogey team; for nothing more than knocking them out of the play-offs. Obviously our major bogey team is are still Fulham though...
