Away kit - historic like home?

Recommended Posts

By the way love the home kit...mrs yobocop isn''t too sure but she''s a gooner!

I''m hopeful that Norwich follow the same theme with the away shirt and go historic, a white kit with similar design to home kit with yellow and green stripes would be good

We''ll see I suppose

Is it just me, or does the new kit have no resemblance at all to the one they are claiming it is inspired by?

To me it seems more like they designed the kit and then looked through the old ones to see if there was anything close.

Have to say I agree Bethnal. Never been really sure about Errea, some of their middlesbrough kits were dreadful with horrible white bands/stripes slashed across the middle. The last two kits they''ve done haven''t been so bad yet haven''t changed much so maybe people didn''t buy them as they looked similar to previous ones. I stopped buying them when Xara made them and are even more hardened against buying them now when Errea are releasing a new one each year.

Agreed about Errea. Didn''t like last seasons either. Maybe I''m just stuck with the idea of yellow with green piping as they used to call it. The first season in the Prem was my favourite recently. Simple but a touch of class.

How about this same template with either white and green, or white and blue - the latter to reflect our original colors... We really only have Watford and Wolves to worry about a color clash, so that should take red and black out of consideration.

I actually really like the new kit, I might consider getting it as I haven''t bought one since the first Errea top - which I also felt was good. The two inbetween haven''t really impressed - but haven''t been bad either.

I was just being a little cynical about their claims it was based on a 100 year old kit - when the two look nothing alike. I''ve had the misfortune of spending too much time with marketing people to fall for that obviously made up ploy.

I''m glad Norwich use Errea rather than a big company like Nike or Addidas who would just use a standard template and colour it yellow and green.

Incidentally the new shirt in purple/ white isn''t all that bad now I''ve mocked it up. Not sure they''d use the same template again though.

1926/27 kit would make a great away number

Ironically that 1926 kit is one I picked out for an away kit that Surfer picked out earlier.

And just for continuity''s sake, here''s that purple one.

Maybe not purple but I think I''d quite like something a bit different this year, such as...
