What is happening with Seb. now?

 

Since the last kick of last season it has been assumed that there might be bad blood between him and the manager (the Club?)

 

Pushed to the side lines since Hughton''s sacking and now almost completely ostracised in pre-season.

 

Neither of the two extremes of the situation seem to be happening, ie. that he is sold for some return or that he is due to slip back into the fold to become the Championship Colossus most of us think he could well be. 

 

There seems to have evolved a stalemate whereby NCFC is paying his wages and being denied any selling-on fee that might be accrued whilst Bassong, himself, is being denied a meaningful pre-season.

 

Also, we are one short in the centre-back position, yet I cannot recall any recent interest in a decent replacement, rumour or not.

 

This is becoming weird situation, made more so by the complete paucity of any semblance of comment by either club or player.

 

Norwich City''s only current prodigal son with the seeming rehabilitation of Wes Hoolahan and even Anthony Pilkington  (not forgetting "Luciano, Luciano wherefore art though Luciano?" Becchio either) Big Seb is currently a problem which doesn''t seem to want to be resolved.    

 

Will this coming week see events which will resolve the problem, one way, either way or any way at all?

 

We do need a very strong contender for the position that Sebastien Bassong has apparently abdicated, and I do not mean the captaincy.
