Check out the Radio % show from lunchtime

start at 6 mins 40 and listen to him speak about Aaron Ramsey and say how he played well against US!!

Couldn''t get on with SkyBet, PP or Stan James  - im barred from all of them but 7/4 as it was represented unbelievable value
Is he referring to Cardiff v. Arsenal?

Now that IS interesting.
He could possibly be referring to the one match he managed against Arsenal as Cardiff boss, in which Ramsey scored a brace but it would be quite unusual to refer to a team that sacked him as ''us''.
The fact that he mentioned Carrow Road just before it is also very suggestive...

Makes them rumours that the only reason he hasn''t been announced today is due to media commitments seem a little more credible, doesn''t it?

Touch of wishful thinking there, methinks.  He said the goal at Carrow Rd was good - and then he said he played well against ''us'' (meaning Cardiff).

Exact Quote:
''The technique of the goal* on the last day of the season at Carrow Road was sensational he played very well against us.''
*reffering to Ramsey''s goal on the last day of the season

That''s not what he is saying. He says the goal at Carrow road was incredible and goes on to say he played very well against us, ie Cardiff when he was manager.

Not at all. He was talking about 2 different games. Against City at CR and against his Cardiff earlier in the season. He certainly wasn''t referring to Norwich as "us".

A case of the missing word   "and" or at the end - "too"

LDC is hearing it correctly. He refers to the goal on the last day at Carrow Road and then goes on to add that he also played well against us (Cardiff). Not a snippet to jump to conclusions from.

Philip - you and I are correct. The quote below is exactly right - any one saying this is two different games needs an extra "AND" in this sentence and even then its still incorrect to refer to "US" as Cardiff when a) they aren''t mentioned in the sentence and b) why would you refer to us as a club that sacked you!
No you are both wrong. I heard him the other day referring to Cardiff as "we" when discussing something from his time as manager. When he says "us" in that interview today he is referring to Ramsey''s performance against Cardiff where he was MOM and scored twice.

Whistleblower,

Actually, all you need is a full stop; not an extra ''and''. You have also failed to take in to account what he says immediately after ''us'' (''at that time people were talking about him as player of the season''). That refers to before Christmas and his subsequent injury issues. You are 100% wrong.

Sorry.

According to Whistleblower this radio show was at lunchtime. I can only see Malky referring to Cardiff, as he would have been announced as the new manager by now if he was referring to Norwich

I think you''ve all missed the probability that he could suffer from multiple personality disorder and is incapable of saying ''I'' or ''Me''.
