The important thing for me is how Hoddle treats people and acts towards them not how he believes they are in the situation.If someone is hit by a car and lying in the road needing help because the car came out of nowhere and knocked them off the pavement I would help them.If someone is hit by a car and lying in the road needing help because they were being an idiot and playing chicken I would help them.Same scenario, same reaction yet I firmly believe one is self inflicted.
