Recommended Posts

Why are Brighton & WBA who are manager-less still signing players yet we are just drifting along

What on earth is going on ?

According to most people on this board we will appoint Malky as soon as he finds out if he was or was not successful with his application for the mangers Post at the MacD''s up by the airport

Or we can get Delia back on radio norfolk to explain again that her & michael do not know what they are doing - went down a storm on monday

No-one is signing players yet, the transfer window does not open for another 11 days. If you want to rant at least try to use correct facts.

These deals were probably already done, but still.

West Brom have signed midfielder Craig Gardner from Premier League rivals Sunderland on a three-year deal.

The former Aston Villa player, 27, will join the Baggies, who finished just above the relegation zone, on 1 July once his Black Cats contract ends.

Brighton & Hove Albion have signed Grasshopper Zurich midfielder Nzuzi Toko on a free transfer.

The 23-year-old DR Congo-born player, who came through the Swiss club''s youth set-up, has agreed a three-year contract with the Championship side.

Dunno what BHA''s set-up is, but West Brom have Richard Garlick as Director of Football (succeeded Dan Ashworth when he went to the FA), who is responsible for player transfers. Their "manager" is more of a first team coach role than a traditional managerial position and has been for several years. That''s why they''re still signing.

Yes they can sign now ! see below from the BBC site.

"The transfer window closed for clubs in England and the Scottish Premiership on 31 January. The loan window for Football League clubs closed on 27 March.

Teams can still sign free agents or, in the case of an emergency, bring in loan players.

Clubs can buy domestic players again once they have played their final game of the season. International deals can go through from 10 June."

Also West Brom still have a DOF in place.
