McNally has said they have spoken to candidates. Those are two of the names fans and papers have pegged as candidates. Unless I''ve missed something this is pure guesswork.

Surely it has to be Lennon , this delay would never happen with Malky, and I notice still nothing from Celtic over this .

The odds for Lennon have tumbled overnight and as others have said Malky just does not fit what McNally said he wants a manager who attacks goes for a win in each match.

And he is right we need to win most matches if we are to bounce back next season
