Tony Cottee Woz Ere . . .

So why the hell didn't they appoint Zola?

Recommended Posts

They want an attack minded manager who would get the team playing good football. Zola made it pretty clear he fancied the job. He had one good season at the Hammers followed by a poor one. He then took a cash strapped Watford to the playoffs, playing some good football and scoring goals for fun along the way. Add to this he is Gianfranco Zola, a huge, respected name who no doubt many of the current squad and transfer targets would have been relishing the chance to work with. And yet we end up with Neil Adams. Absolute joke. But totally in line with the last 18 years of derisory managerial appointments from our tin pot board.
