First it was AC Milan, then Spurs, now Real Madrid are copying us!

Actual quotes from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez: "There is no real urgency to sign new players."

They''re all adopting ''The Norwich Model'', when will this stop!

Honestly it''s a refreshing change from our previous Championship transfer experiences where we adopted the David Moyes at Man Utd style of transfer dealings where you fail to sign anyone and cover it up with speculative statements about how you''ve put a bid in for Fabregas, Cristiano Ronaldo, etc.At the same time Crystal Palace''s decision to release 12 players this week should provide a pertinent lesson about panic buying.I would imagine our transfer targets will be highly dependent on who we sell this summer, with who we sell being equally tied to who we can identify as adequate replacements. Right now we''ve got a perfectly acceptable Championship squad and with Surman and Rudd back in the frame probably have too many good players rather than lacking any. We only really need a target man (Wilbrahimovic clearly) and we''ll comfortably have a squad good enough for promotion and adaptable enough to play most required formations and tactics.
