Newton 0 Posted May 30, 2014 No Tech Director &v Chief Scout seeing notice period out, these 2 posts along with McNally & Adams form the new transfer committee Can we assume there will be no activity in our out untill these posts have been filled ? If so any news on what is happening ? I feel sorry for Adams it looks as tho he has been left up the creek without a paddle, the club is a shambles at the moment
Canary On The Wire 0 Posted May 30, 2014 This particular ''Newton'' alias will disappear along with many other pointless trolls who don''t understand football when it is widely realised that in the context of the Championship we''re actually going to have a good season. If you think no transfer activity in May puts us at a disadvantage, you don''t understand how football works. Therefore, I struggle to debate against that.
KeiranShikari_2 0 Posted May 30, 2014 Transfer window isn''t even open yet.Who knows what wheels of potential transfers are moving behind the scenes.

Newton 0 Posted May 30, 2014 The 3 posters above talking out of their rear endCardiff made 3 signings already and my posting was suggesting that no activity is going on at Carrow Road because, Adams has no scouting expereince and the Chief Scout is serving his notice period ? Hoolahans Left Foot 0 Posted May 30, 2014 There is plenty of time for signings, don''t be impatient. The trouble is a lot of Norwich fans are retards...........................
The Messiah 0 Posted May 30, 2014 Permanent manager only in place a week and weighing up what he does. Who wants to stay, who wants to go and who needs to go needs to be thrashed out before we go throwing money around needlessly. Needs a bit of common sense
Salopian 1 Posted May 30, 2014 Adams said that he has potential signings in mind and that approaches had been made at least to some. For the next few weeks the World Cup will make contacts more difficult, but not impossible.So. don''t despair. We can''t afford to wait for the new appointment, and Chester is here until the end of August in any case. So the situation is not very different from when Hughton operated, choosing players and McN doing the negotiating. There doesn''t need to be an undue delay, apart from World Cup complications. simmo_2 6 Posted May 30, 2014 The reason there is a lack of transfer activity is because we wont be making any significant signing. The clubs priority is to sell players and if so get a couple in at the last minute. As for some posters saying other clubs are not signing players, those posters need to wake up, very quickly. YellowNets1901 0 Posted May 30, 2014 How do you know this, Simmo?
Dave 0 Posted May 30, 2014 Reason for lack of transfer activity - simple! Its a world cup year historically transfers rarely happen until after the final

GrantsMoustache 0 Posted May 30, 2014 We probably need to sell before we can buy, and can''t make it clear that we are in a rush to sell because we''d then get lowball offers.

Chip20 69 Posted May 30, 2014 Ok, simmo_2 and Newton. What is your answer to TCCANARY''s point? Are we in the minority here? Are we one of only a select handful of backward clubs who have not made a signing yet?If, as I suspect, we are actually amongst a vast majority then what''s the frickin'' problem? Guest Posted May 30, 2014 This site seems to have attracted quite a few simpletons lately who have no understanding of how football clubs work. It''s quite simple, players and managers away on holiday with the select few preparing for the world cup. If you are waiting for transfers to happen then you''re in for a long one. andy cousins 9 Posted May 30, 2014 just kinda wondering why Newton was not named as manager of the team being as he knows everything about what is going down at Carrow road, mind his ideal job has been taken by big Mick I guess
