Cantiaci Canary 556 Posted April 26, 2014 Hughton won 12 out of his last 53 league games.Hughton only ever witnessed us score over a goal in 16 out of 71 league games. We lost 5-0 at Craven Cottage under Hughton last season and they beat us twice at Carrow Road under Hughton this season. We lost 5-1 to Liverpool under Hughton this season and 2-5 and 5-0 last season.Yes, we pulled out desperate wins against West Ham, Hull and Spurs this season but you can''t keep throwing away away games and returning to the home well for water because as the WBA and Stoke games showed you will get found out eventually.Anyone who seriously thinks Hughton would have got points from our last 5 games is perversely arguing against the evidence. He got lucky with a 10 game unbeaten run leading up to Christmas 2013 but after that we were dire 9 times out of 10. sgncfc 1,221 Posted April 27, 2014
Hughton consistently got results that were needed!
Really? We have got 14 points since we drew with Swansea on 14th December in 17 games under Hughton and 3 under Adams. We have been the worst team for most of the season. We deserve to go down. Our players are not good enough and that is solely Hughton''s fault. How many of our players would get in a Fulham or a Sunderland team - Ruddy and Snodgrass possibly. Two or three others might make the bench. Most are Championship standard at best.

"Indeed they are, which is why we have to have a cohesive plan and passion in the team, once that goes our lack of technical skill is exposed.... cue the role of the manager. Lambert''s team got it right on the whole, Hughton''s team was O.K at it last year, but this year the wheels have fellen off - ironically when we upgraded the technical quality of the squad...
