Fromage Frais 10 Posted May 4, 2014
Doesn''t matter if it''s called football or soccer does it? Fact is the team we all support hasn''t been playing either well enough this season! - JFYES!!!!!!!!!!
I am disappointed as this must be the most avoidable relegation in history.Everyone saw the team could not score goals... nothing was done to correct this massive issue.Yes people will not be able to see streams butThink of the staff who will need to be made redundant following relegation. I hope the directors of the club have clauses in their contracts reducing their renumeration as apparently the CE is on well over a million a year is this needed in the championship? Would you just resign when on big bucks? No you would not. Many on here act like the CE is the owner who will just no pay himself when the going gets tight.... The logic would be that like the players why should they take a pay cut if not contractually obliged to do so? Think of all the city pubs that have been showing the games, a trade where aside from this, has been little good news in this recession.Think of the hotels who have been boosted by the large teams bringing loads of rich fans, teams that stay in hotels before the match, tv international guests and journalists etc etcThink of the city overall less publicity and kudos from not having a teamThis relegation is bad news
