nutty nigel 7,509 Posted May 2, 2014 Our anonymous benefactor has been in touch and has sent some exciting selections and also doubled the stake! So many thanks to the anonymous one who''s also been extremely supportive to the thread and myself for a very long time. It would be great if one or more of these were to come in.. 1) Snodgrass any time goalscorer £2 at 7-1. Would return £162) Turner any time goalscorer £2 at 25-1. Would return £523) Snodgrass to score first and in the first 20 minutes £2 at 45-1. Would return £924) HT/FT Norwich/draw £2 at 28-1. Would return £58 5) HT/FT Chelsea/draw £2 at 28-1. Would return £58 Good luck everyone.
jb 0 Posted May 2, 2014 OK - thanks for all of your picks - some really good ones that I ended up not selecting, but I''ve gone with the 6 that I think have the best chance of coming off... might not be a massive return but hopefully they''ll all come good (and if they don''t, please let it be the last one that lets us down!). So, my final 6 are:STEAUA BUCHAREST v Corona Brasov - HOME WINREAL MADRID v Valencia - HOME WINHAMILTON v Morton - HOME WINJUVENTUS v Atalanta - HOME WINARSENAL v West Brom - HOME WIN (and my pick)and finallyCHELSEA v Norwich - HOME WIN.Thanks again to everyone who made suggestions - fingers crossed for the weekend!jb

lappinitup 629 Posted May 4, 2014
Good start Lapps. Is that the best score PUPS have had?
I can''t remember anything close to a 10-2 Herman. [:D]Arsenal are winning 1-0 after 30 mins. [Y]Sadly, I won''t be able to support the next selection (Chelsea), although I suppose it will be some sort of consolation if we do lose. Trent Canary 0 Posted May 4, 2014 Arsenal win so two down, four to go!Losses for NBS & I, so top of the league is wide open again. Think I should have stuck with Steaua!
Trent Canary 0 Posted May 4, 2014
Good start Lapps. Is that the best score PUPS have had?
Think the highest was Germany beating Liechenstein 13-0 or something a few years back. There were also a couple of double figure scores from the Highland League several years ago. But relative to the odds this is certainly the biggest win! But the anonymous one was right to be positive in his selections.

nutty nigel 7,509 Posted May 5, 2014 Probably the worst week ever with all the heavist tipped teams letting their backers down. 33 PUPs picked this weekend with 13 winning (39%). Between us we gave jb 16 different options of which 9 won (56%). Incredibly our two leaders both fell being let down by Barca and Sonnenhof. Scooby who would have profited was let down by Chelsea. Leaving Hissing Sid as the only winner in our top 4 courtesy of Austria Vienna. So with just 2 weeks left the league table looks like this : - Norfolkbroadslim 36 38 95% Trent Canary 36 38 95% Hissing Sid 35 38 92% Scooby 35 38 92% Statto 33 37 89% Twidio 22 25 88% Cosmic Twin 33 38 87% Til 1010 29 34 85% Hector 30 36 83% Leedscanary 20 24 83% Beauseant 29 35 83% Swindon 29 35 83% CD Mullins 19 23 83% Chelle 31 38 82% Kathy 31 38 82% Jellytot 22 27 81% Inch High 30 37 81% PurpleCanary 30 37 81% Graham Humphrey 29 36 81% GMF 28 35 80% Herman 28 35 80% gravycanaries 24 30 80% Hughesy 20 25 80% Meth Canary 27 34 79% Javier''s Deaf Translator 18 23 78% NWC 20 26 77% Diesel Doris 29 38 76% 1st Wazzock 18 24 75% jb 28 38 74% Yankee Canary 28 38 74% Warren Hill 14 19 74% Norfolkchance1 27 37 73% Mandie Moo 25 35 71% Mr Angry 27 38 71% Vindo 22 31 71% NCFCStar 17 24 71% I''m A Banana 26 37 70% Snake-eyes 16 23 70% nutty nigel 26 38 68% Killie Canary 13 19 68% AJ 22 33 67% gregt 22 33 67% Newcastle Uni Canary 18 30 60% Splutcho 14 24 58% Ginger Pele 22 38 58% Lappinitup 18 34 53% Blah Blah Blah 11 21 52% Mandie Moo''s Mear Kat 17 34 50%
