On Sky, the commentator saying "Norwich fans will be nervous" after Sunderland go 2-0 up... nervous??

Fair dues to Sunderland, they have performed great pretty much since we beat them at Carrow Rd. For us the reason we are going down is because of games like Fulham at home. We score first, but instead of ramming home the advantage we back off, and lose 1-2. That was when it was obvious we were in serious trouble and almost nothing was done about in in Jan.

I dunno. They seemed reasonably bright sitting in 11th place.

You do remember us being relegation favourites with the bookies with just 2 games left to play last season Herman? Let''s not pretend it was comfortable. It was a total collapse post Christmas that didn''t show any signs of improvement until West Brom rocked up in their flipflops.

It was because of that thinking that Hughton remained in charge.

He got lucky playing 2 teams with nothing to play for, that 11th place did not tell the whole story, we were garbage for most of last season and even worse this season

I didn''t say it was comfortable and it sure wasn''t pretty. But the job got done and we finished where we finished. I could see what the plan was and understood it was never going to be an easy transformation.

 This season however...

...or maybe it was this lack of support from day one meant his job was much, much harder than it should have been!? There are multiple of reasons why it failed this season. Fans trying to support their clubs manager is very low on the list.
