Dave 0 Posted May 8, 2014 A lot of negativity on the board so lets look at the positives1. 4 years ago we were in league 12. Nobody expected us to be promoted to the premier league that quickly3. We have had 3 seasons in the premier league nobody expected us to last 1.4. We are out of debt for the 1st time since the 90''s and in a lot stronger financial position than after our other 2 relegations from the premier league.5. Ok we didn''t spend in January but this means we are not in a QPR situation with additional players on over inflated wages.6. We are financially strong enough to retain players under contract should the board / manager wish.7. Lamberts doing an abysmal job at Villa and will probably be sacked before Christmas if not in pre season.8. We''ve made a huge amount of progress both on and off the pitch. Sure this season was a disappointment but the good has far outweighed the bad in recent years.
