Positives

Recommended Posts

A lot of negativity on the board so lets look at the positives

1. 4 years ago we were in league 1

2. Nobody expected us to be promoted to the premier league that quickly

3. We have had 3 seasons in the premier league nobody expected us to last 1.

4. We are out of debt for the 1st time since the 90''s and in a lot stronger financial position than after our other 2 relegations from the premier league.

5. Ok we didn''t spend in January but this means we are not in a QPR situation with additional players on over inflated wages.

6. We are financially strong enough to retain players under contract should the board / manager wish.

7. Lamberts doing an abysmal job at Villa and will probably be sacked before Christmas if not in pre season.

8. We should win a lot more games next season

9.We get to thrash Ipswich next season

The first 6 points are why all this talk of McNally going and sacking the board is so ridiculous. We''ve made a huge amount of progress both on and off the pitch. Sure this season was a disappointment but the good has far outweighed the bad in recent years.
