Did the players follow your instructions?

Quite a strange question from Goreham and Hughton seemed taken aback by it. There was a long awkward silence followed by an answer that didn''t even come close to answering the question. So what was it?

Did the players ignore his instructions?

Or were the players carrying out his instructions and game plan throughout?

im really not sure which is the worst scenario here - players ignoring the manager or having a manager who gets his game plan wrong completely and then cannot influence the game at all

I''d have liked him to be asked exactly what it was he saw in that 1st half performence that made him think the same 11 should be sent out in the 2nd half playing the same system. No other manager in the PL would have sent that same team back out.

Hughton''s inability to answer the question spoke volumes.

 I would have liked the questions "What exactly were your instructions?" and  "Do you still think you''re the best man to keep Norwich in the premier league this season?"

I was expecting those questions along with a question re. Hughton Out chants.

Then i realised none of those questions wouldn''t have had any answers that would have been productive so were probably left unasked
