pete 318 Posted April 5, 2014 Seemingly Hughton is safe until we drop into the relegation zone that is according to noises made by McNally. Does this mean if we fall into bottom 3 we can sack CH without paying compo which does seem strange. If this is rubbish and when he gets sacked before his 3 years are up the £4 million compo rumored to be payable to CH and his clowns needs to be paid now and get rid. However needed to be done many months ago perhaps there is such a clause the reason for delaying the inevitable. McNally penny pinching leading to the drop. The board will have to agree to that. MacNally can''t just sack him! If anyone is penny pinching if it is true what you say it''s the board!
ricardo 7,380 Posted April 5, 2014 I don''t know if there is any truth in this. It seems unlikely anyone would know the contents of Hughton''s contract. With £80 million at stake it''s a gamble either way.
