Media training techniques?

Has anybody noticed this recent rising trend of managers asking their own questions, then immediately answering it during interviews.

Hughton did it every time. Neil Adams did it in his pressy and I''ve noticed McNally did it in his "vote of confidence" interview a few weeks back.

Is this a media training technique that is taught? Or just a fashionable language thing kicking in.

Very much a training technique! Recently went on a stadium tour and part of this included the press room, where our guide went into some depth as to how players and managers alike are told to behave and how to react in front of the press. More like BU11 S#1T trying to baffle brains!
