Neil Adams and a director of football

Recommended Posts

I know I''m putting the cart before the horse here but just something to think about

Obviously signing players and selling the club would be hard for Neil being new to it. It is sometimes a case of who you know in this league and when you bring a manager in you bring in his contacts and pulling power as well.

If it were to work out well and Neil were offered the job going forward a director of football with good links could sort out all the BS side of schmoozing and selling the club to new players etc and leave Neil to get on with matchdays and working with the players, his strength.

Just a thought, not a nailed on opinion.
