50 years a Supporter 0 Posted April 11, 2014 I am not normally prone to optimism, but I really believe we should be going into this game as favourites. Whilst we should have a pretty good idea of how they plan to come at us they, in complete contrast to the Hughton era, they have very few clues available as to how we will come at them. This element of surprise, in my opinion, is the major advantage that our better managers of previous years (Lambert, O''Neil especially) seemed to be able to pull out of the hat when the chips were down, but, for this game at least (and maybe the next couple) NA has it gifted to him on a plate. I believe he is too shrewd a man to let that opportunity pass him by.With this in mind, I expect our starting eleven to raise a few eyebrows. This is my guess - Ruddy, Whitaker, Martin, Yobo, Olsson, Tettey, Fox, Snodgrass, Hoolahan, Pilkington and RVW = the latter three in the diamond formation.
