nutty nigel 7,531 Posted April 9, 2014 Greetings PUPs and welcome toweek 35 of our Rays Funds season. This week we have one of our longest serving PUPswith I’m A Banana in charge and making the final selections. ‘nana is a realproduct of our youth team who would have been barely a teenager when he startedselecting. He’s been a valuable member of our team every season since and is nowpart of our senior squad! I think this season is probably his best yet with25/33 76% winning selections. I’ve met Lewis many times since Rays Fundsstarted and he’s a great and friendly guy to talk to and a very commited supporter of ourbeloved club. However, perhaps one of ‘nana’s finest achievements has been toavoid the blender our friend Tilly has had ready for him for so long! I’d love Lewis to get the winthat takes this season’s total past £500 and to get his namer onto Ray’ssignature. So please choose your very best selection from the games listed onBet365 or Bill Hill and played Sat/Sun/Mon this weekend. This weekend we have another fantastic young man in Newcatle Uni Canarylooking after the Norwich match. I’m surehe’d appreciate all your suggestions for our beloved team’s crucial match atFulham. Good luck Neil our fiver is in your hands. Don’t forget the bet can bea single £5 or divided into up to five individual £1 bets. Here’s hoping thisis a great weekend for all our Neils. Of course last weekend saw a change in manager at the football club. Iwas disappointed that it didn’t work out for Chris Hughton. He took a greatinterest in the academy where of course our new manager comes from. As LeedsCanary pointed out to me the other day in a small way Rays Funds helped in Neil’sdevelopment as a top coach and manager! Many of you will have met Neil at ourpresentation a few years ago and I hunted him down at the open day yesterday towish him good luck on behalf of us all. I also spoke to Ricky Martin who isalways interested in how we are doing. He was well impressed with our total sofar and promised to arrange us the usual presentation at Colney even though themoney is now raised for the CSF, a cause that the whole club supports and istheir charity partner. So now I’ll hand the threadover to I’m A Banana. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going tobe doing our best to help you get your name in the Free Bet Hall of Fame. Weall stand together with the single aim of raising money for Community SportsFoundation. Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Lewis ... the thread isyours.......[:)].... As always I leave you withRays signature which now reads :- Carve their names withpride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,3,Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,2,Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,2, Cosmic Twin,2, Graham Humphrey,Leedscanary,2, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox, Lappinitup,Statto, Mandie Moo, Mr Bump, Kathy, Til1010, Snake-eyes, Vindo, NWC, Hughesy.Gregt, GMF yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £430 for the CommunitySports Foundation. Hissing Sid 154 Posted April 9, 2014 To Holland this weekFC Twente (3rd 8-7-0 38-15 at home) v Roda JC (bottom 2-4-9 22-36 away)And for the NCFC bet, RvW to score anytime is currently 12/5.Best of luck Nana, Newcastle Uni and all you PUPs.
The Great Drinkell 50 Posted April 9, 2014 This is the time of the season when there is always a Banana skin waiting to put the skids under you. as I found out with Wigan last night. I''m sticking to the English League and at 5/6 with Ladbrokes I think Scunthorpe who are unbeaten in months will be just to good for Bury as they push on to promotion. As for the City bet well how about Ollson to be on the score sheet at any time.Good luck to both Uni and Nana :-)
Herman 9,756 Posted April 9, 2014 Chrissy Martin''s Derby to beat James wotshisfaces Huddersfield.Good luck Nana and all PUPS[Y]
MethCanary 0 Posted April 9, 2014 Finland this week. HJK Helsinki to win at home versus KuPS Kuopio.Currently 2/7 for the Helsinki win with BET365.Good luck Nana and all PUPsMC

PurpleCanary 5,557 Posted April 9, 2014 To the Japanese J1 League. Early days but enough form to go for Vissel Kobe to win at home against Tokushima Vortis. Vissel Kobe are third with a 3-2-1 record and a +5 goal difference. They have won two and drawn one of their home games.Tokushima Vortis, up from the J2 League, look a bit out of their depth and in danger of being vortexed back whence they came. Rock bottom, they have lost all six games and have a -18 goal difference. Current odds are 1-4.For the NCFC bet, who knows, with a new manager? Mark Bunn to play up front and score a hat-trick? But, in a spirit of optimism, I would suggest Draw/Norwich for the HT/FT, at a not unreasonable 7-1.Good luck to all!

jb 0 Posted April 10, 2014 A benfica win could wrap up the Portuguese league this weekend, so I''m going for Arouca v benfica- away win. Tough week for nana, nothing really stands out... And the Norwich bet- over 2.5 goals. Good luck!

Gingerpele 0 Posted April 10, 2014 Because Banana likes his 3:00 Saturday kick offs so much, despite them being 3:07 I''ll go for a PL game this week because I have much better luck with them in my own accys.Sunderland vs Everton- away win.Norwich bet, Ricky is 12/5 to score anytime and Hooper is 21/10. I''m not sure if it''s possible to do a double anywhere, but if it is that''d be decent odds in the hope Adams gets them both a goal or two this weekend!Good luck :)
lappinitup 629 Posted April 10, 2014 2nd from top v second from bottom in the Scottish Championship, where Dundee (9-4-3-21-8) entertain Cowdenbeath (3-4-9-16-37).Dundee v Cowdenbeath.......Home win.Good luck nana. Mr Angry 1,555 Posted April 10, 2014 AC Milan are having a shocking season but surely they should be able to beat bottom club Catania at home, odds are 1/3.Best of luck all PUPs and especially Nana.
Mandie Moo 93 Posted April 10, 2014 Good Evening everyone and Good Luck to all our PUPs, especially ''Nana and Newcastle:MMMK - Wigan -v- ARSENAL AWAY WINMM - CAMBRIDGE -v- Hyde HOME WINFor the Norwich bet, how about Ricky Van Wolfswinkel to score and Norwich to win, currently 11/2 on Ladbrokes. nutty nigel 7,531 Posted April 10, 2014 Looking after Kathy''s selections this week. For Banana : - Cambridge Utd to beat Hyde And for Newc Uni : - Draw for City at Fulham. And of course Kathy left her best wishes to all you PUPs.
Statto28 0 Posted April 10, 2014 Cant see past a Cambridge win for me please As always and slightly more than usual. here''s hoping for both a PUPs and City win
nutty nigel 7,531 Posted April 10, 2014 Now then Banana, I''m going to select a game which kicks off at 2:30 Saturday to redress the balance of all those 3:07 games[;)] Germany for me. Borrussia Mönchengladbach who are fighting hard for a CL place and have a home record of W10 D2 L3 F34 A15 are at home to Stuttgart who have an away record of W3 D2 L9 F20 A32. Borussia Mönchengladbach v Stuttgart Home Win For the Norwich bet I''m going to think positive. Both teams need to win. The game will probably be full of incidents and mistakes. So I would risk a small stake on the result being 3-3 at 50/1.
Trent Canary 0 Posted April 10, 2014 Not quite 3pm, but as I will be glued at that time to whichever dodgy stream I can find it is probably for the best! However a trip to Estonia with a morning kick-off. I expect Nomme Kalju to beat Tallinna Kalev. At first glance this looks like a rubbish pick, Nomme are 0/2/1 at home, Tallinna are 1/1/0 away. However there is a fairly big divide in this league, and Nomme who sit in third with a 13/1 goals ratio should dispatch Tallinna who are third bottom with a 4/22 goals record.Last season this game finished 4-2, with the away match finishing 1-1. As such this is by no means a cert.Best of luck all.NCFC - Seeing as though we always get stuffed by Fulham, 4-0.
killiecanary 0 Posted April 10, 2014 Apologies Nutty for the prolonged absence from the thread. Tbh I''ve kind of given the whole board a miss recently,- things have been depressing Enough without making them, worse by coming on here to read the infantile nonsense that I knew would be going on.However, in the spirit of optimistic renewal, I offer the Belgian league match between table topping Westerlo (who, really need to win) at home to Geel in mid-table mediocrity. So WESTERLO to beat Geel at home. For NCFC - again the spirit of renewal kind of forces a. Norwich win over the bogey lot...so 2-1 Norwich for me.
