kick it off 2,062 Posted April 22, 2014 Terrible suggestion. Why on Earth did you think you needed to start two threads saying exactly the same thing?
Syteanric 1 Posted April 22, 2014 hadn''t realised a 2nd thread had been posted...Glad to hear everyones happy to accept Mr Norwich and narrow defeats though....

skeps 0 Posted April 22, 2014 too good for us, will go spurs or newcastle
dean 0 Posted April 22, 2014 Moyes will certainly not want to be managing a Championship club. And that''s what we will be next season. So regardless of the merits of the OP''s suggestion (personally I see more bad an good when it comes to Moyes), it''s irrelevant.

Syteanric 1 Posted April 22, 2014
I just love the view that David Moyes usnt good enough for us........unbelievable!
pretty much.. if he had left Everton and come here half the posters on this board would have Creamed themselves...still.. "too small manager for the mighty Norwich!!!"
im spartacus canary 0 Posted April 22, 2014
I just love the view that David Moyes usnt good enough for us........unbelievable!
yes he kept a massive club who have had premier league money since its inception and gates of 40,000 every week in the top 10 every year, and people rave about him as if he had done it with accrington stanley.. as soon as he leaves everton they are flying... as soon as he goes to man united they become a joke... yes lets snap him up before someone else does [:D]
Mr Brownstone 0 Posted April 22, 2014 I''m sure Moyes would jump at the chance to add a nailed on relegation to the end of what has been a fantastic season for him.
Mr Angry 2,017 Posted April 22, 2014 In the previous 10 full Premiership seasons before Moyes joined Everton, they only finished in the Top 10 once and their average position was 12/13. In the 11 full seasons under Moyes they only finished outside the Top 10 twice and their average position was 7/8. And Bill Kenwright never gave him huge amounts to spend, especially in comparison to the other clubs trying to qualify for European competition. Not good enough for Man Utd but easily good enough for us. Mr Brownstone 0 Posted April 22, 2014 It clearly wouldn''t be Moyes'' fault, but I''m pretty sure he still wouldn''t want it on his CV after his experience at United this season. Not a chance it will happen, for so so many reasons.

TIL 1010 5,246 Posted April 22, 2014 Moyes was never ever going to succeed at Utd after the Ferguson years but remember who hand picked him for the job. This is not the first time this situation has arisen at Old Trafford as those of us old enough to remember the Busby reign and the success he brought just like Ferguson to the Mancs will remember the likes of Wilf McGuinness, Frank O''Farrell, Dave Sexton, Tommy Doherty and even Ron Atkinson had only limited success and lived in the shadow of Busby. Yet failure after failure in the wake of Busby''s departure and now another mistaken choice. Worth bearing in mind when it comes to assessing the choices made by clubs such as ourselves, who get to pick not from the first tier of management, or even the second, but the third.
