We CAN win tomorrow!

Recommended Posts

I woke up with this positive feeling today and I simply can''t shake it off.

We can win tomorrow, maybe I''m just being over confident today but strange things happen in football and we''re long overdue some success. It would also be a massive leap in our survival chances.

NB. No logic was used in the making of this post. [:D]

I feel positive now seeing your picture Jimbo, best looking bloke I have seen in ages.By the way I honestly don''t think we have a hope tomorrow if Saints score a goal we will be done.

And thats why I think we can.

At the moment it seems like we have absolutely no chance of winning any of our games if you listen to some ''fans''! Like the Spurs one for example... Hughton has never lost against So''ton in the prem. As such a very similar logic to the one that says we ''can''t'' beat Fulham says we can''t lose tomorrow!

I can''t shake the feeling that one of these days we''re going to have ourselves a ''lucky'' day, whereupon a lot if what we hit goes in - surely it''s got to happen once this season?!.

A difficult game, but of course we can win it - if you don''t believe in the team, then you might as well give up now.

Indeed. We have won a good number of games that many didn''t ''expect'' us to in recent years. The ones saying we have no chance are on a wind-up. Just ignore them.

I also liked the comment on another thread pointing out Southampton''s recent home defeats have included Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs - the implication being you can''t read much into those because you''d expect them to lose to those sorts of teams.  Just like we lost at home to Man City and Spurs I suppose....

If your feelings of optimism last more than 4 hours, consult a doctor immediately.

YES we can win!!!

If all of our players are on song we can beat anybody.

But I can see the Thread now...... But they were on the beach so it does not count!

We can beat anybody on our day. We just need more of those days.

Have they improved a massive amount? When we beat them in their 3rd game it was the only defeat they suffered before the last game in November. They come into this having lost 2 of their previous 3.

I''ve got a sneaky feeling we won''t be beaten. We saw them off at Carrow Road earlier in the season, and if my memory is correct, they didn''t look particularly special that day. I obviously expect them to be much improved tomorrow, and I''d be surprised if many neutrals gave us a cat in hells chance of picking up any points, but my gut feeling is we''ll get at least a draw, and my gut feeling doesn''t often turn out to be wrong. The last time I had a feeling we''d upset the form book and pick up a good result, was when Spurs showed up a few weeks ago, and the rest (as they say) is history.

I had a cuppa and I think that was it. It was a weird dream. Some imaginary NCFC player took a free kick along the ground with inside curl on the right foot. Think similar to a C. Martin free kick a few seasons back.

Not strictly true that they have nothing to play for. Didn''t they get a new boss this week ??.

Not the one who sits in the dugout. But the one who will be paying their wages and sorting out new contracts in a few weeks time. Never the less, just setting off for the south coast hoping (as always} that we will give it everything. If the lads get stuck in,then we have a good chance.
