McNally Hero to Zero

Recommended Posts

Not in my book, he is the best CEO since the birth of NCFC. To hear him talk on the current issues tells me he has his finger on the pulse and processes technical and business acumen fit for his position.Like you, I do not know or understand his thought processes at this time. Irreversible and critical decisions do not lend themselves to accede to popular desires unless in considered judgment they have a reasonable chance of success.I do not know what must be done, perhaps there is no answer.I wish for the manager to be replaced, for then it feeds my optimism to expect improvement. At the same time I cannot be sure it will help right now to alleviate this fine mess we are in.I recollect a local farmer who once said to me ''IF IT MOVES I SPRAY IT''. That was his answer to solving problems of lower than expected crop yields which confused him. This man  could make decisions, a poor farmer who would make a lousy CEO.[um] [um]

The club needs a director of football. Mcnasty has done a good job on the finances but the rest has been a disaster. Clearly he needed to keep the Messiah on side and failed miserably. He replaced him with hapless. You couldn''t make it up.

A DOF can take charge of footballing matters and allow mcnasty to run the business side of the club

If we go down he will have failed and must take the blame. As CEO he''s had two really big decisions to make. He got the first right in sacking Gunn and bringing in Lambo. In my book he''s now taken a huge and unecessary risk with our future this season by failing to act. Staying up will not mean he has got it right it will mean he''s got lucky.

Yes we are debt free but that''s really just a by product if the back to back promotions. Other than that he''s penny pinched unnecessarily at times and the level of customer service is worse in many ways. nobody cares about that when we are doing well but the moans will start if we go down.

McNally really cant fire the former Republic of Ireland hero Hoots on St Paddys Day now can he? Hoots is one of the games good guys after all.

And McNally couldnt yesterday, cos it was Sunday, and everyone was at church praying for devine inspiration, and giving thanks to the saints for only scoring 4......

Still, there is always tomorrow. And failing that, we are still not in the bottom three. And we are only one win away from three points and an unbeaten one game run........
