Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 32

Recommended Posts

Greetings PUPs and welcome to

week 32 of our Rays Funds season. This week we have GMF in charge and making

the final selections. Gary’s having a fantastic season this time, probably his

best ever, currently on 25/29 (86%). And I think he can cap a brilliant season

by getting his name on Ray’s signature this weekend. Gary’s been unlucky in the

past. I think Spain failing to win cost him last season. Gary’s also a great

poster who posts too infrequently now. However I often see his well considered

comments elsewhere showing the Pink Un is poorer without his input.

After our worst ever week at

the beginning of the month last week saw a return to form from our great team

of PUPs. I think we are looking ready to have one of our best ever weeks this

time. So let’s give GMF our very best selections from the games listed on

Bet365 or Bill Hill and played Sat/Sun/Mon this weekend.

The Norwich match bet this week is in the capable hands of Mr Angry. I’m sure he’d appreciate all your suggestions for the

game against Sunderland. Good luck buddy our fiver is in your hands. Don’t

forget the bet can be a single £5 or divided into up to five individual £1

bets.

Just an update on our finances. We have enough in donations to cover the

rest of the season in both the final six and the norwich match bets with a few

quid to carry over to next season. But remember that we had a large donation

this season because of the Canary Challenge win. Next season we will have to

have 40 tenners to see it out. And of course most importantly we have £452 in the bank to present to the CSF.

Hopefully we will get that to £500+ before the season ends.

So now I’ll hand the thread

over to GMF. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing

our best to help you get your name in the Free Bet Hall of Fame. We all stand

together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation.

Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Gary ... the thread is

yours.......[:)]...

As always I leave you with

Rays signature which now reads :-

Carve their names with

pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,3,

Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,2,

Sports Foundation.

Back to Austria, with Salzburg to beat Wiener Neustadt.Salzburg are top, 12/2/0 at home. Wiener are mid-table, 4/4/6 away.Salzburg are in Europa league action again, which has led to rotation. However since the winter break they have been battering teams domestically, so they should have enough. Recent games between the two have been comfortable wins for SalzburgBest of luck all.Norwich bet - 0-0 written all over it.

My ''home banker'' for this weekend is Luton to beat Chester in the Conference Premier. If you want a risky one to maximise profit, I strongly fancy Real to beat Barca in the Clasico - should be easy enough to find odds against.

Hoping to get back on track this week (Cheers Wolves by the way) with an offering from Germany

Schalke (3rd, 8-2-2 26-13 at home) vs Eintracht Braunschweig (bottom, 1-3-8 8-25 away) - Home Win

And for the NCFC bet, I''m hoping City can lift the gloom, so HT Norwich FT Norwich

Best of luck GMF, Mr Angry and all you PUPs

Tilly returns after four weeks and before I get down to the nitty gritty of this thread which is the best by a country mile on this message board I must just say that the messages wishing me well both on here and Facebook have knocked me for six. What a great bunch of friends I have. Thank you to you all and believe me Tilly feels humble.

So it is good evening to you Nutty, very good luck  to you GMF and all you other lovely PUPs out there.

Off to Germany and an AWAY WIN for yes you have guessed it BAYERN MUNICH v Mainz.

Now then Mr. Angry best of luck to you with the Norwich bet and I fancy a few goals so a 2-2 draw at 18/1 with Corals caught my eye.

Finally got back on winning tracks last week "good old Worthy"

This week I''m going with my head and my heart who both feel that Brighton will just have to much for our Friends in Blue - no not you Tilly ..but welcome back.- so Brighton to beat 1p5wich is my tip this week.

As for the City bet let''s stay in the positive mood and go for Norwich to win by 2 goals.

Good luck GMF and also Mr Angry.

[ap]Off to Turkey this weekend where Galatasaray are at home to bottom club Kayserispor. Galatasary were poor at Chelsea in the week but there a different proposition at home in the league where their record reads W10 D2 L0 F30 A8. Kayserispor''s away record is W1 D3 L8 F10 A25. Don''t think Galatasaray will be too tired after their performance at Chelsea although they did expend more energy than their manager who was certainly "on the beach" for that one[H]

( [:-*]wonder if I''ll have time to buy a couple of shirts)

For the Norwich bet I''m going to be ultra positive and go for Snoddy to score anytime in a 2-0 win for Norwich which is 25/1 on Bet365.

Good to see you back Tilly!
Going to have to be fairly boring again, my ''riskier'' picks haven''t really been up to much this season, so i''ll head back to the Czech Republic and back to Sparta Prague who face bottom of the league Banik Ostrava. They''re overall home form this season isn''t great at 3/4/3. And in their last four at home they''ve failed to win. Whereas Sparta Prague the league leaders have the best away form this season yet to suffer a defeat (home or away in fact) with a 7/3/0 record, conceding just 7 in that time and scoring an impressive 19.
Banik Ostrava vs Sparta Prague- Away win.
And for the Norwich bet, lets throw in a bit of optimism and hope we build on the two goals and win the game 3-1! Which is 20/1 on Bet365, and to add a little more risk into the equation, how about Wolfie (anytime) to get a goal finally and us to win 3/1 which is 30/1.
Good luck :)

I''m going for a bit of value this week in the shape of a Wigan home win. Wigan have really got going of late after struggling in the early part of the season winning 5 of there last 6 home games where as Watford have failed to win any of there last 6 away games. I expected to see Wigan odds on but to my surprise they are a shade of odds against (21-20) so in my book they have to be a bet this weekend.

Wigan v Watford home win

For the Norwich bet I''m struggling to find something to recommend. Will it be more of the same? Will it be worse? Will they surprise us in a good way? I can''t make up my mind! Do they price up who will be last on match of the day?

Good luck everybody

I''m going for a home win for Saint Etienne against Sochaux, that''s 4th against 19th, a bit risky maybe but the odds are 1/2.

Good luck all PUPs and especially GMF.

I haven''t had much time to look at the NCFC bet options but I will be going for positive bets i.e ones with Norwich victories, I will have a look now and put my selections up later.
